Research On The Path Of College Students’ Green Consumption View Education

Green is the background color of national development.The Fifth Plenary session of the18 th CPC Central Committee of the Communist Party of China put forward the concept of green development,and the path of green development,to truly realize the integration of production,life and ecology in China’s pursuit of development and achieve the harmony between human and nature.Green consumption means reducing resources and energy,lessening ecological damage,and protecting the environment in the consumption process.Therefore,forming the habit of green consumption is in line with the trend of the times today,and it is an inevitable choice to promote green consumption for achieving sustainable development of the country.College students are the backbone of China’s future developement.Their advocation of green consumption leads the whole society to actively practice ecologically friendly consumption and promotes the green development nationwide.Thus,on the basis of clarifying the basic concept and clarifying the practical significance of the green consumption concept education,the author examines the current situation of the green consumption in reality,and explores the educational path of the college students to establish the green consumption concept.Clarifying basic concepts and clarifying practical significance are the basic premise of research.In this part,we clarify green consumption and other related concepts,and present the education on green consumption in college can change the consumption attitudes of college students,promote the overall development of college students,better ensure the demonstrative role of college students,promote the whole society to develop green consumption habits,optimize the allocation of resources,and speed up the construction of prosperous China and beautiful China,promote the recognition and acceptance of college students for a community with a shared future for mankind,and take the initiative to shoulder the responsibilities as global citizens.Accurately grasp the current situation of college students ’green consumption is an inevitable requirement to make the education path of college students’ green consumption concept more targeted.The investigation found that although college students have a certain understanding of green consumption and strong tendency to consume sustainably,there exists the contradiction between the strong green consumption willingness and the lack of green consumption knowledge,the contradiction between rational consumption concept and irrational consumption behavior,the contradiction between high acceptance of green consumption and the sluggishness of green consumption behaviors.There are many reasons for the college students’ weak consciousness of green consumption,for instance,the immature self-value of college students,the lack of guidance of green consumption in family,weak education of green consumption in college,the inadequate establishment of green consumption ethos in the society,and the temptation of e-shopping platforms.In this part,we provide first-hand information for third and fourth parts to study the content of education on green consumption and the pedagogical approaches of green consumption for college students.Content is the embodiment of goals and tasks.This part covers the content of education on green consumption for college students,in terms of education on green lifestyle,education on ecological civilization and education on consumer ethics.Among them,education on green lifestyle consists of moderate consumption education,low-carbon lifestyle education and healthy lifestyle education.Education on ecological civilization includes informational education on ecological civilization,ecological citizenship and ecological practices.Education on consumer ethics improve college students’ understanding of the relationship between consumption and ecology,between consumption and freedom to consume,between consumption and social equity,and the relationship between consumption and happiness.Putting forward a practical education path is the top priority of college students ’ green consumption view research.Establishing a green consumption concept requires the coordinated efforts of families,schools,society and online shopping platforms.In this part,we propose the pedagogical approaches of green consumption for college students.The four approaches aiming to help college students develop beliefs in green consumption include giving full play to the influential role of family,the leading role of colleges,the mobilizing role of the society on green consumption,and strengthening the social responsibility of e-shopping platforms.
