Objective: The two national physical fitness monitoring reports jointly published by the State General Administration of Sports and the Ministry of Education show that the physical index of lung capacity,explosive strength,endurance quality,strength endurance and speed level of college students in China has decreased significantly.Public physical education courses in colleges and universities are an important carrier to improve the physical fitness of college students and learn various sports skills.Tai Chi boxing is one of the elective courses of public physical education courses in most colleges and universities in China,which has a certain effect on the improvement of college students’ physical function and physical health,but the traditional Tai Chi still has shortcomings and defects in promoting the physical health level of college students.Health fitness is an extension of the original concept of physical fitness,which is the basis for enhancing physical fitness,promoting health,improving the efficiency of daily life,work and study,and maintaining one’s own health.It can evaluate the health status of the body more comprehensively and accurately and improve the level of physical health,which is of special significance to human health.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to explore the effect of Tai Chi curriculum integration into health and fitness teaching in Shangqiu Normal University on the physical health of college students,so as to provide some theoretical reference and practical basis for the introduction of public physical education courses in colleges and universities and the promotion of physical fitness of college students.Methods: Select freshman students who meet the criteria from Shangqiu Normal College.There are a total of 82 people in the experimental group and counterparts,including 38 boys and 44 girls.Gradually follow the traditional Tai Chi experiment of Shangqiu Normal University before and after the two classes are tested on related physical fitness indicators at the same time(height and weight,vital capacity,50 meters,standing long jump,sitting forward bending,pull-ups(boys)/ one minute Sit-ups(girls),1000 meters / 800 meters).The statistical software spss.23.0 is used to conduct independent sample T-test on valid data to more scientifically verify the effect of Tai Chi into healthy physical fitness teaching on the physical health of college students.Results: After 13 weeks of teaching experiment,1.The scores of the three indexes of the boys in the experimental group were significantly improved(P <0.05),and the indexes of the 50 meters run and the pull-up were significantly improved(P<0.01);2.The performance of lung capacity,sitting body forward bending and 1000 m running improved slightly,but there was no statistically significant improvement(P >0.05).2.In the experimental group,the scores of 50 meters run,sitting body forward bend and one minute sit-up were significantly improved(P <0.05),but there was no significant improvement in the vital capacity,standing long jump and 800 meters run indexes(P >0.05).3.The performance of lung capacity and sitting body flexion of girls in the control group was improved,but there was no significant improvement(P >0.05);The standing long jump and sitting body forward bend of the boys in the control group improved after 13 weeks,but there was no significant improvement either.4.There was no significant difference between the scores of Taijiquan final exam between the control group and the experimental group(P >0.05).Conclusion: 1.Compared with the traditional Tai Chi course in colleges and universities,Tai Chi course incorporating the healthy physical fitness teaching has a significant improvement effect on the overall level of physical health of college students,mainly on the muscle endurance,speed quality and physical flexibility of female college students.In male college students,speed quality,lower limb strength and muscle endurance were significantly improved.2.In the control group,after 13 weeks of traditional Tai Chi teaching,the girls’ vital capacity and body flexibility were improved.The boys’ performance in lower limb strength and body flexibility was better than that before the experiment.3,after 13 weeks of teaching experiments,both the traditional Tai Chi teaching class’ s and grade’s student,or Tai Chi in teaching health fitness class,students can master the 24 type simplified taichi skills,and the experimental group students in complete with Tai Chi course learning and examination at the same time,their physical health level also had a more effective and comprehensive development. |
