| The Tibetan Plateau is a region with harsh climate conditions,prominent ethnic characteristics,agriculture as the mainstay,and relatively backward economic,technological,and technological development.The development of various industries is relatively backward compared to the Mainland.A group of local talents that can be used and retained.For this reason,the Aba Prefecture government attaches great importance to the development of vocational education.However,the employment of secondary vocational students in Tibetan areas is not ideal,and the employment stability rate is not high.Both the socio-economic development and the promotion of social stability in Tibetan areas have had an adverse effect.In this study,students from the animal husbandry and veterinary professions in Tibetan areas of Aba Prefecture secondary vocational and technical schools are taken as the research object,and a face-to-face questionnaire survey method is combined with the teaching practice to analyze the employment intention status,problems facing employment,and influencing factors of employment intention..The study found:(1)Poor social adaptability,lack of hardship,and inability to adapt to the management,production,and production models of modern enterprises;poor self-learning and awareness-raising;students’ poor Chinese proficiency,unable to adapt to the mainland The rhythm of life.(2)The problems facing employment are mainly manifested in: insufficient employment preparation and lack of employ-ability;inaccurate employment positioning and high employment expectations;utilitarian employment purposes and lack of a sense of mission;demanding professional counterparts,which cannot change due to the situation;society Lack of capital and limited employment channels.(3)The research shows that the students’ own willingness and ability,family influence,school education,and social employment environment have become important factors that affect the employment intention of agricultural-related secondary vocational students in Tibet.Finally,this study puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions: First,students must face their own problems and improve their overall quality;they must actively participate in off-campus practice to enhance their professional awareness;they must correctly understand their majors and enhance their sense of mission;they must accurately locate and reasonably adjust their employment expectations.Second,schools should give play to the leading role of the school,strengthen reform guidance,and actively guide students to fully understand professional characteristics;strengthen employment and entrepreneurship guidance to help students make career plans;keep up with market needs and do well in curriculum reform.Third,the government must create a healthy employment environment,create good employment conditions,strengthen policy support,and increase employment and entrepreneurship opportunities;attach importance to basic education and treat secondary vocational students fairly.The fourth is home-school co-education,which gives students the correct concept guidance. |
