Study On The Pressure Of Family Caregivers Of Disabled Elderly

China has entered the age of aging,the situation of population aging is becoming more and more serious.The number of disabled old people is also growing.China has become the first country with more than 10 million disabled old people in the world.The increasing number of disabled elderly has brought severe challenges and pressure to the social pension.At the same time,the home-based care model for the disabled elderly also brings great material and spiritual pressure to their families and caregivers.This study selected the disabled elderly family caregivers in Y community of Z town in Hulunbuir city of Inner Mongolia as the research object,collected first-hand data through interviews and analyzed,investigated the current situation of the disabled elderly family caregivers’ care pressure,analyzed the causes of the pressure,and tried to put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.It is found the family caregivers of the disabled elderly face enormous pressure in the process of care,such as physiological,psychological,economic,social interaction,social role and so on.Based on the above analysis,the author tries to put forward the corresponding countermeasures and rationalization suggestions from the macro and micro levels,in order to alleviate the pressure of family caregivers for the disabled elderly to a certain extent.The purpose of this study is to better play the role of family care,and provide some reference for solving the social problems caused by the aging population.
