Sports science and technology is the key factor and main driving force to promote the development of sports in China,especially to improve the level of competitive sports in China[1].At present,China is undergoing the transformation from a big country in sports to a powerful country in sports.More and more people choose efficient and scientific sports training methods,and sports training supported by science and technology is paid more attention than ever before.The quality of female basketball players includes two parts: physical quality and psychological quality.This paper studies the physical quality of female basketball players.Physical quality is the basis for basketball players to complete special technical movements and play the tactical arrangement,and determines the competitive level of basketball players.Due to the key of physical quality,the importance of evaluating the physical quality of basketball players in daily training is becoming increasingly prominent.At present,the research on this aspect is relatively backward,so this study introduces new elements and provides a new perspective to discuss the correlation between Reaction Strength Index and physical fitness evaluation.Research Objective: Through DJ-RSI test and special physical fitness tests for female basketball players,including 15 m ×17 runs,squats with heavy load,cross running,sitting body forward bending,3/4 sprints,in-situ vertical jump and touch height.To explore whether there is a correlation between the specific physical quality of female basketball players and Reaction Strength Index RSI,and to provide theoretical support for the development of Reaction Strength Index in the future.Research Methods: In this paper,14 high-level female basketball players from Dalian University of Technology were selected as the research objects.The incremental DJ-RSI test is carried out by using the force measuring platform of the human body science laboratory of the School of Physical Education and Health of Dalian University of Technology.In the basketball hall of Dalian University of Technology,we conducted a special physical fitness test for basketball.Pearson correlation analysis is used to explore the correlation between Reaction Strength Index and basketball specific physical quality.This study adopts the method of literature,mathematical statistics,experiment and logical analysis.Results: RSI is positively correlated with the test data of 15 m ×17 runs,squat with weight,cross-direction change run and sitting body forward bend,but had no correlation with the test data of 3/4 sprint run and in-situ vertical jump and touch height.Conclusion: Reaction Strength Index(RSI)is positively correlated with the test data of15 meters ×17 runs,Weight-bearing squat,cross running,and sitting forward bending.The greater the Reaction Strength Index(RSI)is,the higher the level of endurance,strength,agility and flexibility is.There is no correlation between Reaction Strength Index(RSI)and the test results of 3/4 sprint run and in-situ vertical jump and touch height,which indicates that the Reaction Strength Index can not measure the speed quality and jumping quality of female basketball players.The Reaction Strength Index RSI can be used as an effective index to evaluate the endurance,strength,agility and flexibility of female basketball players.
