Brain stimulation is increasingly used as a tool to build the connection between the brain and human behavior,promoting activity in specific areas of the brain to improve sports ability and performance.Transcranial direct current stimulation(t DCS),as one of the non-invasive brain stimulation technology,has great potential in enhancing human muscle strength,delaying exercise fatigue,and promoting the learning of motor skills.However,the conclusions of improving balance of healthy people are not uniform and there is no ideal stimulation parameters.Moreover,the study of the application of High-Definition transcranial direct stimulation(HD-t DCS)in balance research is not uncommon both at home and abroad.Therefore,this paper firstly analyzes the specific influence of anode t DCS on the dynamic balance ability of healthy people through Meta,analyzes the factors affecting the balance ability,and then discusses the effects of HD-t DCS on human balance ability.This paper mainly employed methods of documentation,Meta analysis,experimentation and mathematical statistics.CNKI,Web of Science,Baidu Academic Database were retrieved to collect the experimental research on the effects of anode t DCS on dynamic balance publicly published from 2000 to May,2020,and these literature was given Meta analysis with Rev Man 5.3 software after literature screening,quality evaluation and data extraction.Thirty-six college students were recruited as subjects and randomly divided into three groups,receiving anode stimulation and sham stimulation with a current intensity of 1m A,2m A(stimulation duration was 20min).Dynamic offset index,ring time,offset distance,motion track area and perimeter were selected as the dynamic and static evaluation indicators,and balance tests were carried out to have experimental research after single and repeated stimulation.The results showed:(1)Meta analysis:the effect size of anode t DCS on dynamic balance is ES=0.31(-0.40,1.01),P<0.05;the comparison of the effect size affecting dynamic balance:as stimulating brain areas,the cerebellum was better than the primary motor cortex;the current intensity of 2m A was better than 1m A and the plate size of 35cm~2was better than 25cm~2;subjects of the healthy elderly were better than adults.(2)Experimental study:for dynamic balance,1)after anode HD-t DCS single and repeated stimulation,feet dynamic offset index and right foot dynamic offset index were significantly lower than those before the stimulation(P<0.05);2)after anode HD-t DCS single stimulation and repeated stimulation,Offset distances were significantly shorter than those before the stimulation(P<0.05);3)after anode HD-t DCS repeated stimulation,the ring time was significantly higher than that before the stimulation(P<0.05);4)anode HD-t DCS used different stimulation current strengths(1m A,2m A),and there was no significant difference in the effects of improving human dynamic balance.For static balance,after anode HD-t DCS single and repeated stimulation,there was no significant change in track area and perimeter with subjects standing with two feet and eyes open or closed as well as standing with left or right foot alone(P>0.05).The following conclusions were drawn as follows:(1)According to Meta analysis,1)anode t DCS helps to improve the dynamic balance ability of healthy people;2)the ideal brain stimulation area of improving the dynamic balance ability by anode t DCS is the cerebellar brain area;the current intensity is 2m A;stimulation plate size is 35cm~2;anode t DCS shows good effects in improving the dynamic balance of the healthy elderly;3)anode t DCS improves balance by changing the muscle force and direction coding,modifying and regulating the planning and execution of cerebral cortex involvement in motor skills,strengthening the connectivity among each cortex as well as information integration.(2)According to experimental study,1)single stimulation of High-Definition anode t DCS technology can immediately improve the dynamic balance ability and it can not only increase the dynamic stability of feet and single foot standing,but also promote gait stability during the active movement;repeated stimulation of High-Definition anode t DCS technology can further improve the dynamic balance ability;only increase of stimulation current intensity does not improve the dynamic balance ability significantly;2)High-Definition anode t DCS fails to improve the static balance of two feet standing with eyes open or eyes closed and single foot standing with eyes open or eyes closed.
