Academic procrastination has always been a hot topic in the field of mental health research in primary and secondary schools.Throughout the learning experience of students,academic procrastination often starts from the upper grades of elementary school and gradually develops into academic problems.This article attempts to study and analyze the status of academic procrastination,family parenting style,achievement goal orientation,and the relationship among the three in grades 4-6.This article mainly includes two studies.In the first study,a total of 432 students in three primary schools in C hangsha were tested by using a simple parenting questionnaire,academic procrastination questionnaire,and achievement goal-oriented questionnaire,and SPSS and AMOS software were used to count,describe,correlate,and correlate the collected data.Regression and other analysis.The second study is based on the first study,a total of 24 students from two classes are selected for group psychological counseling intervention research.research shows:(1)There are significant differences in academic procrastination among primary school students in grades 4-6 in the education level of their fathers.There are significant differences in parental education in family parenting styles,and there are significant differences in the orientation of achievement goals in the gender dimension,whether it is an only c hild or not,and the education level of the father..(2)There is a significant positive correlation between the procrastination of pupils in grades 4-6 and parental refusal,mother’s overprotection,and mastery of avoiding goal orientation,and between parental warmth,mastery of approaching goals,and achievement of approaching goals Significant negative correlation.(3)Grasping approach orientation plays an intermediary role between parental emotional warmth and academic procrastination,achievement avoidance orientation plays an intermediary role between parental overprotection and academic procrastination,and master approach approach orientation plays an intermediary role between parental refusal and academic procrastination Play an intermediary role.(4)Through group psychological counseling activities,it can effectively improve students’ mastery of approaching goals and achievement of approaching goals,thereby reducing students’ academic procrastination.
