STEM education has been conducted internationally for more than 30 years.Although STEM education started late in China,it was introduced into China in 2007 and has attracted the attention of many researchers.Under the active promotion of education authorities,it has been widely practiced in primary and secondary schools.With the spread of theoretical research and practice,STEM education has expanded from the initial focus on the development of students’ scientific,technical,engineering and mathematical literacy to the field of humanities.Based on this background,this paper takes F primary school in Fujian Province as a sample,combs the development of STEM education curriculum system in F primary school,analyzes the implementation of STEM education curriculum,and summarizes the experience of developing and constructing STEM education curriculum in F primary school,in order to provide a reference for the development of STEM education curriculum system in primary schools.This paper firstly investigates and analyzes the research status of STEM education at home and abroad,defines the core concepts related to this research,such as STEM education and STEM education courses,and points out the research significance and innovation points of this paper.Secondly,taking F primary school as a sample,the author tracked and recorded the construction of STEM education curriculum system in F primary school for a period of three years by means of case study,interview and documentary method,and collected a lot of historical and practical data.The author divides the F primary school STEM education curriculum system into three aspects.The first is STEM education in the construction of primary school science curriculum.The second is STEM education in school-based curriculum construction.The third is STEM education in the construction of campus culture.At the same time,the author also presents the specific implementation of these three aspects.Finally,by analyzing the implementation effect and experience of STEM education curriculum system in F primary school,this paper sorted out a practical path to carry out STEM education in primary schools that can be copied and operated.
