| Mental health education in middle and primary schools has become an important part of school quality education.According the demand of psychological teachers’ professional competence has been improved.In order to give a better play to the mental health education,to service for more students,and boost a more scientific,standardized,professional development,it must improve the psychological teachers’ professional competence and job input.This study takes the mental health education teachers in middle and primary schools as the research object,investigates the status of psychological teachers’ professional competence,job satisfaction and work input,and explores the relationship between the three,aiming to improve the psychological teachers’ work input and improve their careers.Competency to find new channels.The study found that:First,the revised “Professional Competency Questionnaire for Mental Health Education Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools” contains 37 items in four dimensions: teaching and consulting ability,research and guidance ability,professional development ability and professional personality charm.It has good signal efficiency.The higher the educational level,the more competent the mental health education work;the professional competence level of the psychological teachers in the city is significantly higher than that in the county and the countryside;whether they are excellent teachers can be an important factor to measure the psychological teachers’ performance standard,professional training is an effective way to improve the professional competence of school psychological teachers.Second,the professional competence of mental health education teachers in primary and secondary schools is at a medium to upper level.There are differences between different performance levels,mental health education years,academic qualifications,and psychological teachers in the school location;whether there are training experiences,whether there are differences between provincial/city/county backbone teachers/excellent teachers/special teachers/model teachers;different genders,ages,majors,There is no difference between school categories,and part-time psychology teachers.Third,the overall job satisfaction level of mental health education teachers in primary and secondary schools is at a medium-to-high level.Psychological teachers with high competency levels are significantly higher than those with low competency levels;whether there are differences in job satisfaction between provincial/city/county backbone teachers/excellent teachers/special teachers/model teachers;other demographics There are no significant differences in the variables.Fourth,the overall work input level of mental health education teachers in primary and secondary schools is at a medium-to-high level.There are differences in the level of work input between psychological teachers in different majors,professional competency levels,and job satisfaction levels.The psychological teachers who obtained theprovincial/city/county backbone teachers/excellent teachers/special teachers/model teachers have higher levels of work input than the psychological teachers who have not obtained the provincial/city/county backbone teachers/excellent teachers/special teachers/model teachers.In order to improve the job involvement of primary and middle school psychological teachers,we should not only improve their job satisfaction,but also improve their professional competence.Fifth,professional competence and job satisfaction have a significant positive predictive effect on job input.Job satisfaction is a partial mediator of the impact of professional competence on job input. |
