Objective: has the largest elderly population in our country, the fastest growing countries, proper physical exercise is an important factor in the health and life quality, body sensory nerve muscle pull technique(PNF)can delay the strength degradation, motion control, balance and endurance, the PNF into the elderly daily exercise, stimulate the old organs of the body have degenerated, induce has the function, and thereby improve body function, quality and mental health,to raise the level of health. Methods: Theoretical research on platform using the Internet, library,at the same time in sports medicine, sports science of human body, the elderly health study, fitness testing domain experts, based on to the exercise of the elderly,on the basis of strict inclusion and exclusion of 60-65-year-old males who exercise regularly in the Linhexi community and based on epidemiological methods, the experimental subjects were divided into experimental group and control group at random.experimental group adopt the method of PNF sports exercise prescription,The control group was perfected according to the principle of exercise prescription on the original basis.implementation for 16 weeks, four times per week,70 ~ 80 min/times,The exercise bullseye rate was controlled at 110 times /min,and the body shape, body function, sports quality and mental health indexes before and after the experiment were observed respectively. The relevant data were statistically processed by Excel and SPSS software.Result:1.After the experiment, the weight,BMI index,Quetelet index and fat content of the experimental group were obviously better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The height and bust circumference did not change much, and the experimental group also showed the same trend before and after the experiment;2.As for the experimental group, the basic heart rate and systolic blood pressure decreased sharply after the experiment, the pulse pressure difference was more reasonable, the vital capacity and time vital capacity were significantly improved(P<0.05),the diastolic blood pressure was nearly stable, and the experimental group was better than the control group;3.The experimental group was obviously better than the control group in grip strength after the experiment, reaction time, sitting forward flexion, and standing on one foot with closed eyes(P<0.05 or P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the 30-second italic 60° push-up and walking test. The comparison of subjects before and after the experiment showed the above trend;4.After the experiment, the experimental group’s mental health and adaptability indicators were superior to those of the control group(P<0.05).Except for the connotative coordination and coping indicators, the experimental group was much better than the other group;Conclusion:1.PNF training can effectively improve the body shape of the elderly.Long-term physical exercise can strengthen muscles and promote body metabolism.2.PNF training can accelerate blood circulation, reduce peripheral resistance and blood pressure to a certain extent, enhance respiratory and nervous system functions, and improve physical functions;3.PNF training can improve the strength, flexibility, reaction and balance ability of the elderly,so as to effectively resist the aging of speed and endurance quality, improve the ability to fall, and achieve the effect of improving the transportation quality;4.PNF training exercise prescription can be a help to the elderly’s mental health and adaptability, delay the speed of aging to some extent, and improve the level of physical health;PNF exercise prescription is highly operable and suitable for fitness and physical exercise of the elderly.
