In this thesis, the research focuses on the physical health and physical training among the staff in Yunnan Normal University. The research adopts Literature review, measurements, questionnaires, mathematical statistics and some other research approaches to study the physical training habits and physical condition of the staff in Yunnan Normal University. The intervention objects are determined preliminary according to the survey results and intervention samples are selected out. Then the data of objects height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference were measured, calculated and analyzed on the basis of case exercise prescription formulation, prescription intervention, intervention contrast and other research methods. Finally we draw the conclusions as following.1. The physical healthy conditions among the staff in Yunnan Normal University are not optimistic. The main factors that affect the physical health of the staff in YNNU are overweight and obesity. Female staff are much healthier than the male.2. While analyzing the waist hip rate(WHR) of both male and female staff in YNNU through one-way variance, these female abdomens have different degrees of fat accumulation or excess fat. Both male and female staff’s WHR values are higher than the normal range. The risk of suffering from heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular disease and diabetes will greatly increased.3. The body fat rates of the staff in YNNU are quite high. The body fat distribution needs to be further examined.4. In the analysis of the lean body mass(LBW), both male and female staff in YNNU should strengthen physical training. The thin body weight of male and female teachers in our school is gradually decreasing with the increase of age. In the process of making exercise prescription, some special sports should be added to maintain the function of LBW.5. After the analysis of the bone strength, we find that there is a significant age feature among male staff. With the growth of the age, their bone strength becomes weak. The bone strength among female staff showed a phased decrease.6. The research results also show that participating in sports activities is beneficial for physical health. By taking part in the sport intervention for three months, the physical health of each intervention subject has been improved better.7. The staff in YNNU have realized the importance of body building, but the enthusiasm of participating in physical exercise is not high and good physical training habits have not been formed. The reasons that affect the staff to participate in physical exercise are busy work, lack of organization and instruction and so on.8. The poor physical health condition among the staff in YNNU is related to the unformed training habits. Although the staff have high recognition of physical exercise, but it is not enough to insist on the enthusiasm and perseverance of participating in physical exercise. |
