With the continuous development of tennis,people pay attention to the impact of physical fitness training on tennis technology,and balance ability,as an important part of physical fitness,is one of the indispensable elements on basic sports and sports technology.In recent years,balance training has received more and more attention and is gradually applied to the training of competitive sports or sports colleges.In this paper,by referring to Evert Verhagen training,a progressive BOSU ball balance ability training is designed based on the combination of tennis-specific characteristics.It aims to enrich the teaching tools of tennis special selection classes in sports colleges and ultimately achieve the improvement of tennis skills of male students in tennis special selection classes in sports colleges,and also provide some theoretical references for research in other related fields.This paper mainly adopts literature method,experimental method,mathematical and statistical method,etc.The male students of tennis special selection class of 2018 in Guangzhou Sports College were used as experimental subjects(more than 1 year of tennis playing age,and all of them were right-handed racket holders),and were randomly divided into experimental and control groups,7 students in each group.Body form test,balance ability test,basic tennis technique test and tennis forehand and backhand stroke technical movements were analyzed for the students in the experimental and control groups before the experiment,and the same body form test,balance ability test,basic tennis technique test and tennis forehand and backhand stroke technical movements were performed for the students in the experimental and control groups after the experiment,and the following conclusions were drawn.Before the experiment,there was no significant difference between the experimental and control group students in basic body form,balance ability,basic tennis technique and tennis forehand and backhand stroke technical movements for the next experiment.After the experiment,it was concluded that the students in the experimental group had better balance ability training on the BOSU ball than the students in the control group.This was demonstrated in the following points.(1)In terms of balance ability,BOSU ball training had a significant effect on improving the static balance ability and dynamic balance ability of the students in the experimental group,and improved both the center of gravity control ability and balance ability.The balance ability of the students in the control group was also improved,but the effect was not as good as that of the experimental group.(2)In the basic tennis technique,the ITN tennis rating test system was used for the basic tennis technique test in this thesis.BOSU ball training had a significant effect on the students’ forehand and backhand stroke depth score,forehand and backhand stroke accuracy score and special movement ability score in the experimental group,and the scores were higher than before the experiment,and the improvement was greater than that for the(3)In the backhand stroke technique,BOSU ball training had a significant difference in shortening the time of the cushion phase of the 4-meter backhand stroke technique,reducing the speed of the center of gravity at the moment of maximum cushion and increasing the height of the center of gravity;it also had a significant difference in shortening the time of the stroking phase of the 4-meter backhand stroke technique,reducing the speed of the center of gravity at the moment of maximum stroking and increasing the height of the center of gravity at the stroking phase.There was a significant difference in the height of the center of gravity during the stretching phase.The training effect of the control group students was not as good as the experimental group.(4)BOSU ball training is effective in the balance training of male tennis students in sports colleges and universities,and it is highly effective,versatile and challenging,which increases the fun of training and makes BOSU ball training more acceptable in the classroom.
