Research On Social Work Education Assisted By Student Associations Of Social Work Major

Under the background of the rapid development of social work education,the importance of social work practice and internship is becoming more and more prominent.Internship and practice have a unique significance for social work education.Currently,social work education institutions have a large number of practice bases for the cultivation and improvement of students’ abilities.In order to supplement and enrich the existing social work practice and extend social work education,the study aims to explore the possible positive effect of social work major student associations on social work education.On the basis of the existing student societies and under the guidance of the tutor,the study explores the extension and supplementary role of student societies in social work education in X University,starting from holding professional competitions,under the role of self-organization.In the process of intervention,we actively participated in a series of auxiliary work:combining the development of students’ autonomy with social work education;the association of social work major student associations and social work education practice teaching;give full play to the initiative of social work major student associations as a platform for social work education practice.Analyze the positive effect of professional competition on social work education,enrich the operation mode of social work major student associations,and assist social work education.
