Professional Assessment Of The Social Work Organizations

One important theme for discussion in SW study is professional development of SW. SW Organization are platforms for functional display of SW, so they are responsible for ensuring the professional development of SW. In this context, it is necessary to evaluate the professional manifestation of SW Organization. This article chooses Shanghai Sunshine Community- Youth Affairs Centre(SCYC) as a study case, and establishes the Professional evaluation framework of SW Organization to make qualitative study on SCYC by integrating research approaches of literature research and in-depth interview. Resource perspective, social worker's growth perspective, internal process perspective and customer perspective constitute the professional evaluation framework of SW Organization, and each perspective fractionizes several indicator. The finding is that government power hinder the professional development of SCYC. This article analyses the cause from point of view of concepts and resource and puts forward some suggestions. For one thing, making good use of government resource to develop, for another, establishing positive interaction with researcher and media to make government to understand SW correctly.
