| Language is a reflection of life,which contains people’s psychological logic and cognitive mode.Language exists in every aspect of life,and language life is an important part of social life.With the advent of the era of artificial intelligence,language life has also changed.In order to adapt to the language life in the era of artificial intelligence,the cultivation of language ability must be changed both in theory and in practice.Without a high level of language ability,individuals will not have a high quality of language life.An individual’s language ability is the basis and starting point of language learning and expression,which is of great value to his mental development and language learning.In the new era,we must focus on the cultivation of students’ language ability to improve the Chinese course,so as to realize the reform of the Chinese course in the development of language ability.By combing relevant literature,this study clarifies the language life background of language ability in the era of artificial intelligence and the highly intelligent of various emerging media technologies: man-machine communication becomes more frequent;Multiple languages are more interactive;More abundant language resources;Language learning is more intelligent.Based on the KSCs target classification theory,this study divides language competence into five dimensions,namely,metalinguistic competence,cognitive language competence,functional language competence,sociolinguistic competence,and language literacy competence.Metalinguistic competence refers to people’s ability to reflect,regulate,adapt and develop language;Cognitive language ability refers to people’s ability to master language knowledge;Functional language competence refers to the ability to use language skills for verbal communication;Sociolinguistic competence refers to people’s intercultural communicative competence;The language literacy ability refers to people’s language aesthetics,language innovation and language moral development ability.The characteristics of people’s language life in the era of artificial intelligence have given new connotations to language competence,and the new demands of language competence cultivation have also brought challenges to Chinese curriculum in terms of objectives,contents,methods and the transformation of teachers’ roles.According to the new demand of language ability cultivation in the era of artificial intelligence,a questionnaire of language ability level is compiled,and an empirical investigation is made on the language ability level of primary school students in four primary schools in southern Jiangsu Province.Among them,the metalinguistic ability of primary school students is below the middle level,and their metalinguistic awareness needs to be further developed.The cognitive language ability is at a high level,and the overall development of primary school students’ mastery of language knowledge is good.The functional language ability of primary school students is above the average level.The basic listening,speaking,reading and writing skills of primary school students are good.However,the ability of language listening,speaking,reading and writing in the era of artificial intelligence has been expanded,so the functional language ability of primary school students still needs to be improved.The sociolinguistic ability is above the average level,and the students have the willingness to carry on the intercultural communication,but the intercultural communication ability of primary school students needs to be strengthened.The language literacy ability is above the average level.Students can pay attention to the standard of using language,but the language aesthetic appreciation,language thinking and creativity need to be strengthened.Finally,according to the above research,starting from the training and development of students’ language ability,the author puts forward the path and teaching strategies for the improvement of primary school Chinese curriculum.The way to improve the primary school Chinese curriculum starts from the adjustment and application of the language knowledge system.The adjustment of language knowledge system mainly includes he content of language knowledge,the principles of language knowledge system transformation,and the strategies of language knowledge system transformation.The application of language knowledge includes guiding experience to enrich language knowledge,refining language knowledge through comprehension,applying language knowledge repeatedly in practice and internalizing language knowledge through deep reflection.The teaching method of improving primary school Chinese course which is oriented to the development of primary school students’ language ability includes emphasizing the situation experience in Chinese course teaching;Multiple dialogues should be emphasized in Chinese teaching.Attention should be paid to the cultivation of language accomplishment in Chinese course teaching.The application of intelligent technology should be emphasized in Chinese teaching. |
