Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Effect Of Rumor-Refuting Information Dissemination On Governmental Weibo In Public Health Emergency

The development of new media has reduced the cost of people’s voice and improved the speed of communication for information,this has also contributed to the spread of rumors.For example,during the COVID-19,various rumors circulated on the Sina Weibo platform,including the origin of the epidemic,the development of the epidemic,the confirmed cases,and the prevention and control of the epidemic.All the bogus information about the epidemic hindered the prevention and control of the epidemic and affected the social order.Therefore,it is necessary to study how the government departments can effectively dispel rumors.Government microblog has high authority and influence on the Sina Weibo platform,and has the responsibility and ability to clarify rumors in a timely manner during the epidemic prevention and control period,thereby reducing the harm caused by rumors.As an international public health emergency,the COVID-19 is representative.This article will use Sina Weibo as a platform to study the factors that affect the spread of rumor-refuting information on government microblogs.The conclusion will provide reference for the government and related departments to effectively control Internet rumors from the view of social media.This paper studies the development of government microblogs and the global spread of online rumors,and the existing literature on the effect of communication and its influencing factors is reviewed.On this basis,the relevant research hypotheses are put forward,and a new research model is constructed by modifying the ELM model.In this study,Python was used to collect data on 100 government microblogs related to the epidemic from January to December 2020.After data preprocessing,a total of 1673 valid microblogs and 37,373 valid comments were captured,which were taken as samples for the study.In terms of research methods,data mining,emotion analysis,correlation analysis and other methods in computational communication are adopted to explore the influencing factors of rumor refutation information released by government microblogs.The research found that in the central path,the way of rumor refuting has a significant impact on the cognitive and behavioral aspects of the dissemination effect of rumor refuting information on government microblogs.The "@" symbol and "#refute rumors#" topics respectively affect the effect of dissemination of rumor refuting information on government microblogs.The level and the behavior level have a significant impact.In the fringe path,the number of followers of government microblogs has a positive impact on the behavioral level of communication effects,but the number of fans of government microblogs has a negative impact on the cognitive level of communication effects.In addition,original Weibo,pictures or videos,and user active time have no significant impact on the three levels of communication effects.Based on the above research results,targeted suggestions and countermeasures are put forward,which improve the dissemination effect of rumor-refuting information on government microblogs.At the same time,it also provides a way to cut off the dissemination of false information,which has a positive effect on the epidemic prevention and control work of the government and related departments.
