"Strengthen moral education and cultivate people" has been valued by ancient sages since ancient times."Zuo Zhuan" and "Guan Zi" first proposed "strengthen moral education" and "cultivate people" respectively.Confucianism paid special attention to moral education,"The Mean" has repeatedly emphasized the importance of self-cultivation.With the popularization of education,the national cultural quality has been greatly improved.At the same time,some highly educated people are experiencing moral decline,and phenomena such as "jumping the queue","theft",and "fighting" occur from time to time.In the context of the new era,the report of the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out: "It is necessary to take morality and cultivation as the fundamental task of education." In order to promote the building of a socialist cultural power,comprehensively improve the quality of the people,and cultivate socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetics,the value of "strengthen morality and cultivating people" has been re-emphasized.In order to implement the fundamental task of "Strengthen moral education and cultivate people",the educational concept of curriculum ideology and politics came into being.As a practical course,physical education has rich ideological and political education resources.This article mainly adopts the literature method,questionnaire survey method,and teaching experiment method,through combing the current research situation at home and abroad,to comprehensively understand the curriculum ideological and political and moral education.It also investigates the ideological,political and moral qualities of the students in the 18-level physical education table tennis professional class of Zhejiang Normal University,and compares the differences in the development of the ideological,political and moral qualities of the students in the experimental class and the control class,in order to improve the students’ ideological political and moral qualities,lay the foundation for the all-round development of college students.This research consists of three parts.The first is to study how to set moral goals in the course objectives;the second is to study how to incorporate ideological and political elements in the teaching process;the third is to study how to evaluate the effectiveness of table tennis courses in moral education.The following results are obtained through experiments:The following results are obtained through experiments:(1)The students’ technical level has been improved after the ideological and political concepts are integrated into the teaching of table tennis;(2)The students’ ideological,political and moral qualities have been improved after the implementation of the teaching;(3)Some students’ Ideological political and moral cognition are inconsistent with behavioral performance.The following conclusions are drawn through research:(1)The integration mechanism of physical education and moral education is that "moral education" should run through every link of teaching,training and competition,and be transferred to students’ daily life,which has a subtle influence on students."Education of morality" should be implemented in every link of teaching,including the setting of teaching goals,the design of teaching content,and the implementation of teaching process,"Education of morality" also runs through all links of training and competition.(2)Teachers are the main body in the practice of curriculum ideology and politics,and it is very important for the ideological and political construction of physical education courses to improve the level of teachers’ moral education.Therefore,to improve teachers’ moral education ability,we must do the following three points: one is to improve teachers’ professional quality;second,to establish correct ideological and political awareness;third,to lead by example and set an example.And put forward the following suggestions:(1)The setting of ideological and political goals should be consistent with the teaching content;(2)Choose appropriate teaching methods for moral education;(3)Construct an evaluation system for the moral education of table tennis courses;(4)Focus on improving teachers’ moral education ability.Research limitations and future prospects: Although this research clarifies the ideological and political elements contained in the table tennis professional courses in colleges and universities,and the specific strategies for integrating ideological and political elements into the table tennis professional courses,it evaluates the effectiveness of the integration of ideological political education and table tennis professional courses.Evaluating the effect of the integration of ideological and political education and table tennis professional courses only through academic performance and the "Ideological Political and Moral Quality Scale for Sports Majors" is highly subjective and may affect the accuracy of the data.In the follow-up research,we can compare the focus of ideological political education in teaching and training courses,improve the evaluation system of the integration of ideological political education and table tennis teaching,and construct the integration mechanism of table tennis teaching and ideological political education.
