Research On The Relationship Among Self Presentation,self Esteem And Life Satisfaction Of Junior High School Students In Social Networking Sites

With the rapid development of the Internet,junior high school students have become With the rapid development of the network,the network users are also growing.Junior high school students have become one of the most used groups of social networking sites.More and more junior high school students like to present themselves on social networking platform.In this period,teenagers have the need to explore their own roles and to show their inner needs in many aspects.Social networking sites are the main platform for their self presentation.Through this platform,they can not only demonstrate their own needs,but also meet their needs of interpersonal communication in the network.To understand the self presentation of teenagers in social networking sites is helpful to observe and discover the current overall state of adolescents and their views on life.The youth with low satisfaction are prone to unhealthy lifestyle,violence,and academic problems,and so on.However,the teenagers’ life status will be presented through social networking sites.Self-esteem has an important influence on individual mental health.Different self-esteem level individuals show different ways of self-esteem,different ways of life,and different evaluation of their own life.Therefore,this study intends to explore the relationship between self-esteem and life satisfaction in social networking sites.The survey used a survey method of 829 junior high school students to manage the self-presentation scale,self-esteem scale,and life satisfaction scale of social networking sites.Investigate the relationship between self-expression,self-esteem,and life satisfaction on social networking sites using statistical techniques such as analysis of variance and correlation analysis.The survey results are as follows.(1)There is a significant difference in gender,grade,registered residence and class cadre,and there is no significant difference in whether or not there is only child.(2)There is a positive correlation between real self presentation and self-esteem,life satisfaction of junior high school students;there is a negative correlation between positive self presentation and self-esteem,life satisfaction of junior high school students;there is a positive correlation between self-esteem and life satisfaction of junior high school students.(3)Self-esteem plays a part of the mediating role between the real self presentation and life satisfaction,while it played a complete mediating role between positive self-presentation and life satisfaction.(4)Through individual psychological counseling,self-presentation strategies in social networking sites can be changed,which can improve self-esteem and life satisfaction.
