In the long history of human civilization,gender inequality has always existed.The patriarchal culture is in power,and women have been in an oppressed position for a long time.However,with the advancement of society and the rise of feminism,social groups have begun to critically reflect on this phenomenon,which includes the problems of female prejudice and discrimination in the mass media.With the rapid development of the Internet in the new era,the interactive and virtual nature of self-media seems to have weakened the gender boundaries.Women have also turned from a pure audience to users.Everyone can become a publisher,disseminator,and receiver of information.With more autonomy.However,the phenomenon shows that there are still stereotypes in the media,and women are imprisoned and disciplined by more hidden social ideologies,and tend to be objectified,objectified,and aphasia.Investigating the reasons,patriarchal culture,consumer society,and women themselves are all important factors.It requires relevant departments to adopt various measures to build a good social atmosphere,self-media platforms to correctly guide users,women’s self-awareness to reshape,to enhance responsibility and recognition,and the public must tear away the illusion and embrace reality and the true self.
