Research On The Guidance Of Mainstream Media Network Public Opinion Under The Background Of Media Convergence

Public opinion work is closely associated with the development of the country closely,the revitalization of the nation and the harmony and stability of the society.However,in the new media environment,the network public opinion environment is noisy,and the network public opinion direction is manipulated by multiple forces,which has a great potential threat.The right of public opinion guidance must be firmly grasped by mainstream media,and explore the best path of network public opinion guidance according to the principles and policies of the Party Central Committee and the current ecological characteristics of network public opinion.In this background,this paper takes Xi Jinping’s view of news public opinion as the main theoretical basis.Taking the case as the breakthrough point,this paper explores the guidance of mainstream media to network public opinion under the background of media convergence.Firstly,the paper discriminates and analyzes the concepts of the core words "media convergence","network public opinion guidance" and "mainstream media" through literature research,and analyzes the ecological characteristics of network public opinion and the dilemma of network public opinion guidance of mainstream media under the background of current media convergence.Secondly,the content analysis method and text analysis method were used to analyze the number,topic distribution,news sources,manuscript sources,reporting region,reporting form,reporting style and reporting tone of the COVID-19 epidemic report on the official Weibo of People’s Daily,so as to discuss the guidance of public opinion.Through data collation and analysis,the results show that the official Weibo of People’s Daily has the advantages of correct guidance of public opinion,open authoritative information,rich reporting forms and positive keynote in its guidance of public opinion on COVID-19 epidemic,which exposes the problems of lack of guidance of public opinion and lack of attention to ordinary people.Finally,based on the above analysis and discussion,it summarizes the influence of the People’s Daily official Weibo’s online public opinion guidance during the new crown pneumonia epidemic on the mainstream media’s online public opinion guidance in the context of integration from the four aspects of political stance,report content,agenda setting and reporting methods.Enlightenment.Provide reference and reference for the mainstream media to conduct network public opinion guidance in the future.Whether the network public opinion direction is correct or not is not only related to the quality of the network ecological environment,but also related to the social stability and the development of the country.Therefore,mainstream media should adapt to the development trend of the times,flexibly use new technologies,deeply understand the needs of the masses,find out the key points to break the bottleneck,take effective measures to guide the network public opinion correctly.Only in this way can the national strength be gathered and the voice of the Party spread more widely and deeply under the background of media convergence.
