Improving the quality of undergraduate education is an important content of building a powerful country in higher education.Effective teacher-student interaction is an indispensable link for students to establish communication and communication with teachers in the process of learning,which plays an important role in promoting the quality of higher education.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the present situation and existing problems of teacher-student interaction and to put forward the strategic path to promote teacher-student interaction effectively.This paper studies the interaction between teachers and students of undergraduate education in local comprehensive universities from the perspective of the comparison of arts and science majors.This paper defines the core concepts of teacher-student interaction,based on constructivism learning theory,habermas communication theory and symbolic interaction theory,compiles a questionnaire on the current situation of teacher-student interaction in H university,and investigates the present situation of teacher-student interaction in H university by using complete random sampling.In the classroom teacher-student interaction,students take the initiative to return in the classroom The frequency of answering questions,the frequency of classroom interaction,the frequency of teachers’ questions,the frequency of teachers’ interaction with groups and individuals,when teachers have solid professional knowledge,I prefer to participate in teacher-student interaction,liberal arts majors are higher than science majors;in academic and scientific research,the frequency of teacher-student interaction,liberal arts majors are significantly lower than science majors.The differences of interaction between teachers and students in arts and science are discussed from the aspects of subject characteristics,students’ learning initiative and thinking mode.This paper summarizes the problems of poor overall effect and low frequency of teacher-student interaction in arts and science majors.Combining with the characteristics of arts and science majors,this paper puts forward some suggestions for improvement: schools should establish system,strengthen training,encourage and support arts and science majors to improve teacher-student interaction.We should be good at creating a good interactive atmosphere and enhance the effect of teacher-student interaction.
