Study On The Home Safety Protection Of The Elderly In Guangzhou

The global aging degree is increasing,China’s aging is also deepening,more and more elderly population put forward higher service requirements to the government and society.Influenced by China’s traditional culture,home-based care is the preferred way for most elderly people.However,a number of studies show that there will be many safety accidents for the elderly in home-based care,and these accidents will threaten their life safety.In order to let the elderly enjoy their old age,it is the primary work to ensure the safety of the elderly,especially the home safety of the elderly need to be fully protected.The home safety protection of the elderly cannot only rely on the family or government departments,but should mobilize the ecosystem of the elderly at different levels to jointly protect the home safety of the elderly.In order to understand the current home safety situation of the elderly and the relevant protection situation,and find that the existing protection work is not enough to put forward more effective protection countermeasures,so as to provide a new working idea for ensuring the home safety of the elderly,this paper is based on the ecosystem theory.Collected by means of questionnaire and one-on-one interviews guangzhou H area B street the old safety related data,analyze the questionnaire data and interview data,found that the current the frequent safety accidents,safety knowledge that occupy the home of old people lack,high safety consciousness,unsafe behavior with more,more living environment safe hidden trouble.At present,the work of home safety protection for the elderly is to increase the awareness and knowledge of home safety of the elderly;Second,the community as a unit to build a normal social support system;Third,government and market services gradually fall into the community.But these protection work still have inadequacies in practice.First,there are loopholes in the prevention of home safety risks beforehand.Second,the professional and timely handling of home safety accidents need to be strengthened;Third,after the lack of safety risks and the reflection of protection work.At last,this paper proposes four countermeasures to improve the effect of home safety protection for the elderly in view of the deficiency of existing protection work.First,the elderly should give play to their own subjective initiative,actively learn the screening knowledge of home safety risks,take the initiative to master self-first aid methods and review the accident process;Second,families and communities should take the initiative to improve the protection ability,actively find out the safety risks in the elderly people,improve the professional rescue of family members and volunteers,and timely adjust the protection plan after the elderly have accidents;Third,it is necessary to give full play to the professional advantages of social work,actively carry out publicity and group services in the community,integrate and mobilize multiple resources to meet the needs of the elderly,and collect their opinions and evaluation for the continuous improvement of service providers;Fourth,the government should strengthen market supervision,encourage the market to provide screening and renovation services for home safety risks,strictly regulate the chaos in market services,and improve the weight of satisfaction evaluation of the elderly.
