Problems And Countermeasures Of Alumni Donation Activities In Nanchang University

Strong financial support is the necessary prerequisite and important guarantee for the sustainable development of higher education.But with the continuous expansion of the scale of higher education,along with the state financial support tends to basic education,which leads to the development of higher education encountered the obstruction of the shortage of funds.Therefore,in order to broaden the financing channels of higher education and strengthen the financial support of higher education,it is urgent to find new financing methods.In recent years,alumni donation has come into the public view.Alumni donation is not only the main financing means of higher education in the United States and other developed countries,but also an important index to evaluate the comprehensive strength of a university as it is included in the University Evaluation Research Report of China.The year 2021 is the centenary of Nanchang University.With the coming of the Centenary Celebration,how to improve the donation of alumni,strengthen the financial support of our university,and promote the better development of our university has become a problem that every alumni of Nanchang University should think about.However,from the perspective of the overall development of alumni donation in China,alumni donation is in its infancy,facing problems such as small scale of alumni donation,great differences between schools and regions,unbalanced development,single way of alumni donation,and focusing on large amount donation.However,the alumni donation of Nanchang University has many problems due to its long history.Therefore,based on a comprehensive analysis of the basic situation of alumni donation at home and abroad,this study comprehensively understands the basic situation of alumni donation of Nanchang University by means of field survey,analyzes its existing problems,and takes the basic situation of alumni donation of the United States as an example,puts forward enlightenment and vision for alumni donation of Nanchang University and even China’s universities,so as to promote the development of Nanchang University and China The development of alumni donation in China.This study is divided into five chapters,the first chapter is the introduction;the second chapter is the background of alumni donation of Nanchang University at home and abroad.Using the method of literature research,this paper makes a comprehensive arrangement and analysis of the basic situation of alumni donation in China and the United States,including the relevant laws and regulations,historical longitude and latitude,the main situation of alumni donation and related issues,and lists the domestic and foreign background in detail;the author has practiced in the Foundation Department of the office of Nanchang University Alumni Association for three months,and has conducted a field survey of alumni donation in Nanchang University Therefore,the third chapter mainly uses case analysis and field survey to introduce the general situation of alumni donation of Nanchang University;the fourth chapter mainly introduces the problems faced by alumni donation of Nanchang University and puts forward corresponding countermeasures according to these problems;the last chapter is based on alumni donation of the United States In order to promote the better development of alumni donation in China,this paper puts forward the inspiration and vision for the development of alumni donation.
