Early childhood, which is a critical period that make the individual emotion recognition ability developed more fast, and it is also an important aspect of its social development. Therefore, exploring the relevant mechanisms that affect young children’s ability to recognize emotions is one of the contents of preschool education research. As we all know, faces convey many important social signals. In the daily life, children are better at using faces to obtain information and respond. In previous, although many domestic and foreign researchers have used emotional faces as research materials in emotion recognition, most of these researchers used static emotional face materials, did not the dynamic emotions face material with higher ecological validity.Except to conveying emotional information, faces also convey individual attractiveness.A large number of studies have examined the influence of facial attractiveness on human psychological activities, but have not explored the influence of adult facial attractiveness on children’s recognition of dynamic angry faces. Finally, given that the children in the senior-class are more focused and easier to control than the children in the middle and small classes, this can make the experiment more smoothly. Therefore, the current study takes children in large classes as the research object, using static face pictures from the Chinese Facial Affective Picture System and dynamic emotion face videos from the Chinese College Student Dynamic Affective Face Database as the materials for this experiment. The relationship between the facial attractiveness of adult and the recognition of dynamic angry faces by senior-class children is discussed.Study 1 mainly investigated senior-class children’s recognition of adult dynamic and static angry emotional faces. The results show that:(1)The correct rate of senior-class children’s recognition of angry faces is significantly lower than their correct rate of neutral faces, that is,they shows insensitivity to threat stimuli.(2)The recognition response of senior-class children to dynamically presented emotional faces is significantly slower than that of statically presented emotional faces, which indicates that their processing of dynamic stimuli is not of high level.Research 2focuses on the impact of adult facial attractiveness on senior-class children’s recognition of dynamic emotional faces based on research 1.The results showed that:(1)When senior-class children recognize highly attractive faces, their accuracy in recognizing dynamic angry faces is lower,it means that they are less sensitive to the recognition of dynamic angry faces, which indicates that face attractiveness interferes with children’s recognition of threatening stimulation.(2)When senior-class children recognize dynamic angry faces, their reaction time to recognize highly attractive faces is shorter, which shows that they prefer highly attractive faces. In view of above analysis findings, the current research puts forward corresponding educational suggestions.First of all,we should train preschoolers to correctly recognize the credibility of adults with high facial attractiveness.Secondly,we should enhance children’s ability to detect potential dangers through safety education. Finally,we should pay attention to the development of children’s dynamic emotional stimulation processing capabilities.
