| With the continuous development and progress of society, mobile phones have already entered thousands of households. From traditional mobile phones to smart phones, the evolution and upgrading of mobile phones have greatly enriched our lives. However, mobile phone addiction has become a problem that can not be ignored in modern life. The adverse effects of mobile phone addiction affect the physical and mental health of most people, including junior high school students.Because of the particularity of their own physical and mental development, junior high school students are not only more likely to use mobile phones improperly, but also the improper use of mobile phones will have a greater impact on them.Studies have shown that adolescents’ time management disposition is highly correlated with mobile phone addiction, and introducing self-control into the study of the relationship between them will lead to different perspectives.Junior high school students are a high-risk group of addiction behavior. If we explore the causes and characteristics of students’ addiction to mobile phones at this stage and take necessary measures accordingly,we will effectively prevent them from becoming addicted to mobile phones, thus pulling their energy back to their studies and promoting their good physical and mental development. In this study, using the Adolescent Time Management Disposition Scale(ATMD),Self-control Scale(SCS)and Mobile Addiction Index Scale(MPAI)as tools to investigate students’ time management disposition,self-control and the degree of mobile addiction.a total of 844 students in grades 7,8 and 9 in several middle schools in Langzhong City,Sichuan Province were measured, and the following results were obtained by statistics:(1)In terms of time management tendency,on the whole, there is no obvious difference due to different ages, genders and regions, but the sense of time monitoring is different in the places where students come from, while the sense of time effectiveness is obviously different in different grades;(2)In terms of the level of mobile phone addiction, there are obvious differences in gender and students, and male students are more dependent on mobile phones than female students;Compared with children in urban areas, children in rural areas are less dependent on mobile phones, and grade has no significant effect on mobile phone addiction;(3)There are significant differences in the overall level of self-control of junior high school students in the places and grades of students, that is,rural students show a higher level of self-control than urban students, and junior and second grade students have the highest level of self-control,and gender has no significant influence on self-control;(4)The formation of junior high school students’ mobile phone addiction is closely related to their time management concept and their own control ability. In detail, poor time management concept and poor self-control ability are more likely to form mobile phone addiction, but vice versa;(5)The formation of junior high school students’ mobile phone addiction can be predicted from the negative direction of time management tendency and self-control,and time management tendency will first cause the decline of self-control ability and form mobile phone addiction. In view of the above research results,it is suggested that we should pay more attention to the problem of mobile phone addiction of junior high school students, pay attention to the cultivation of good time management tendency and self-control ability of junior high school students, and devote ourselves to scientific prevention and effective intervention of mobile phone addiction of junior high school students. |
