| With the continuous development of technology and economy,new forms of employment have been widely presented in my country,and labor relations have shown characteristics such as complexity,instability,and difficulty in defining.The tension of labor relations has exacerbated the occurrence of labor disputes.People’s mediation acts as the "first line of defense" for labor dispute resolution.Under the new form of labor dispute mediation work,how it starts from the root of the problem,stimulates the client’s inherent potentials and advantages,changes the client’s irrational perception,establishes an effective communication platform,assists the client in restoring social functions,and helps others self-help,have all become problems that needed to be solved urgently.As one of modern social management methods,social work is highly compatible with people’s mediation in terms of values,basic principles,and working methods.The introduction of social work into people’s mediation of labor disputes can effectively settle disputes and protect the rights and interests of workers.This article analyzes the current situation of people’s mediation in labor disputes through questionnaire surveys,interviews and literature research,summarizes the main problems and reasons of people’s mediation in labor disputes,and draws out the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention.Social workers use cognitive behavior theory and communication theory to carry out case services,trying to present the general process,methods,techniques,and effects of judicial social work involved in labor dispute mediation.Research shows that,compared with the traditional perspective of people’s mediation,social work is a process-oriented professional helping activity.Social work services are based on meeting the needs of the parties,giving the parties sufficient space to express their rights and obligations,understanding their problems and difficulties,stimulating potential,solving and preventing conflicts from the source,and achieving the effect of helping others to help themselves.The intervention of social work has effectively made up for the shortcomings of traditional people’s mediation in handling labor disputes.It is an important manifestation of the localized development and innovation of social work,and provides a new direction for the professional and modern development of labor dispute people’s mediation work. |
