Education equity is the basic premise to ensure the upward mobility of the class and realize social equity. But “the room of the sky price school district” and“the poor door is difficult to get out of the noble son” are the realistic epitome of the unfair education.China is actively expanding the scale of higher education, and it is particularly important that education equity and reasonable allocation of resources be made.At present, most domestic and foreign studies are based on income generation or vocational intergenerational perspective to explore social equity and class mobility. However,Combined with the policy background of education enrollment expansion, the research on higher education equity and social mobility from the perspective of intergenerational transmission of education is still relatively few. Therefore,Based on the economic perspective of education intergenerational transmission,This paper uses data of China family data(CFPS)in 2010,2012,2014,2016 and 2018,and analyzes the impact of enrollment expansion policy on education intergenerational transmission and higher education intergenerational transmission in 1999 through descriptive statistics, transformation matrix, multiple linear regression and double difference model(DID),which is of great significance to the rational distribution of educational resources, helps to realize educational equity, further narrow the income gap between the rich and the poor and promote social mobility. The results show that enrollment expansion policy has significantly improved the "efficiency" of higher education, and the gap of education inequality has gradually reduced, but the negative effects of intergenerational transmission of education still exist. The specific conclusions are as follows:First,With the increase of the supply of higher education opportunities,China’s overall education level and national quality have been improved. However, the expansion of education still can not avoid the negative effects of intergenerational transmission of education.Education has obvious intergenerational characteristics. The higher the educational level of parents, the higher the probability of their children getting higher education, and the more obvious the upward mobility.Second,Enrollment expansion policy reduces the transmission of education between generations, reduces the impact of superior family backgrounds on the length of education, and improves the education inequality to a certain extent,in which the impact of gender, income and regional differences gradually decreases. However,Educational gap caused by other family backgrounds still exists. The educational inequality caused by the difference in registered residence and class size has been further expanded after the enrollment expansion, and the education level of city families and non-agricultural families has increased even more and benefited more.Third,On the whole,Enrollment expansion policy does not significantly reduce the intergenerational transmission of higher education, and the influence of family background on children’s access to higher education is still significant. However,Enrollment expansion not only improves the upward flow of education of low degree families, but also reduces the intergenerational transmission of junior college education, and does not reduce the intergenerational transmission of undergraduate education. The high-quality higher education resources are inclined to the dominant families, and the hypothesis of effectively maintaining inequality has been verified.Enrollment expansion cannot eliminate the cumulative effect of the dominant families on higher education.City families get more higher education opportunities, and higher income and eastern regions will further strengthen the reproduction of higher education. The influence of registered residence, income and regional differences on intergenerational transmission of higher education is heterogeneous.
