Since the reform and opening up,China's economy and society have developed rapidly,but there are also problems such as the widening gap between the rich and the poor and the solidification of the social class.Intergenerational transmission is an important aspect that affects social mobility.The stronger intergenerational transmission of education indicates that the worse the intergenerational mobility of education,the more serious the social class is solidified.As an important part of human capital,education human capital often represents the level of human capital stock of a person.This paper uses the 2016 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)to study the intergenerational transformation of educational human capital.Based on relevant theories,it mainly uses descriptive statistics,educational intergenerational transformation matrix and ordered logit regression to doing empirical analysis.This paper not only performs regression analysis on the whole sample,but also classifies the sample.The results of the study show that the educational level of parents has a significant positive impact on the educational level of their children.The mother has a greater influence on the father.When the mother's education level is improved,the probability of the child's low level of education is reduced.The probability of being at a high level of education increases even more.For the family,when the level of education of the parents is matched,it is more conducive to the improvement of the education level of the children.Judging from the gender differences of children,when the overall education level of parents is improved,women's education level is more likely to increase one level,and women are more likely to receive higher education.From the perspective of intergenerational mobility of education,the intergenerational mobility of education in rural areas is lower than that of urban areas.The intergenerational mobility of education in the western regions is lower than that in the central and eastern regions.The intergenerational mobility of the post-70s is lower than that of the post-80s.Generally speaking,the intergenerational mobility of education in China has increased and the unfairness of education has decreased.However,there are still large differences in education between urban and rural areas and regions.
