Research On Social Service Interaction Design Based On The Elderly Group

With the rapid development of the mobile Internet,China has fully entered the digital era.As the country with the largest elderly population in the world,China’s huge digital divide has brought considerable challenges to the development of the information society.How to help the elderly cross the digital gap and promote the construction of smart cities is an issue worth addressing.This paper will explore new ways of providing digital services for the elderly from the perspective of public welfare.In the face of the difficulty of elderly people to use smart technology,the existing manual services,video instructions,and text explanations are have limit that unable to meet the needs of elderly people,so this paper proposes the design of a smart life experience platform.Through an in-depth study of elderly users,we analyze how the characteristics of the group affect the interface interaction,and analyze their feature demands for interface interaction.It explores the age-appropriate design method of interface interaction from three aspects: information architecture layer,interaction layer and presentation layer,and provides a guideline for design practice.Finally,the intelligent life experience platform is put into use in the form of a product.The platform allows elderly users to experience the operation process of intelligent terminals in a simulated environment,and to practice repeatedly under the safe network provided by the platform.In this way,it fulfills the ease of use and usability of interface interaction for elderly users,and also helps to alleviate elderly people’s fears when facing intelligent technology to a certain extent,thus making up for the inadequacy of the existing guidance model.This paper applies the concept of human-centered interaction to the design practice and reflects the social value of design.The research results are of reference and practical value for the research of products serving the elderly today.
