Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, the sudden death of young people has attracted more and more attention.Doctors,IT elites, lawyers, civil servants, teachers etc.,more and more mental workers are dying because of the pressure of work. They will not vent or relieve pressure, which is commonly known as "death through overwork".This is still true for mental workers, not to mention those who engage in heavy manual work.At present, scholars study the phenomenon of "death through overwork" from the fields of medicine and sociology, while this paper focuses on the analysis of the causes of "death through overwork" from the perspective of social security and puts forward countermeasures.Firstly,in this paper we define the concept of "death from overwork" and related concepts. Then, combined with the case of Manzhouli City,we emphasize the causes of "death from overwork",namely social factors, environmental factors and workers’ own factors.Secondly, with the questionnaires,we determine the significant causes of death from overwork. Finally, based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign policies to deal with "death from overwork" and the identification of "death from overwork",this paper puts forward the necessity and urgency of incorporating "death from overwork" into the overall management of industrial injury insurance.Based on the real cases, this study extracts the significant factors of "death from overwork",and provides the research possibilities based on the perspective of public management for the policy of "death from overwork" and the related research of industrial injury identification. It also provides certain research possibilities for the cause analysis of "death from overwork" and related research of industrial injury identification. The research results also provide practical significance for employers to protect workers’ rights and interests and for human resources protection departments to recognize "death from overwork".
