| The use of social networking sites such as WeChat,QQ,and Weibo has become an essential part of teenagers’ daily life.The relationship between social media use and adolescent mental health is a hot topic in current research.A research survey shows that more than 90%of students are users of social networking sites.They often access and use online social networking platforms,and spend an average of one hour a day on social networking sites.Adolescence is an important stage of self-identity construction.In the process of identity construction,the factor of self-concept is particularly important.Therefore,based on profile analysis.this study examines the relationship between the use of social networking sites and the clarity of adolescents’self-concepts under different latent categories.Using LPA to analyze 9 items of active-passive social media use.finally 3 categories-common,interactive,and silent are the best choices.To explore the role of self-disclosure in the influence of social networking site use on adolescents’ self-concept clarity.This study takes 1032 middle school students in Jiangsu Province as the survey object,using the "active and passive social networking site use questionnaire"."self-concept clarity questionnaire","self-disclosure questionnaire".to investigate the influence of different ways of using social networking sites on adolescents’self-concept Clarity mechanism of action.The results of the study are as follows:Active social networking site use,self-disclosure,and self-concept clarity were correlated in pairs in the interactive and silent groups.Three in the common group do not satisfy the pairwise correlation.In the interactive group,self-disclosure played a complete mediating role between active use of social networking sites and self-concept clarity;in the silent group,self-disclosure played a complete mediating role between active use of social networking sites and self-concept clarity.Under different latent categories,the effects of different social networking site usage categories on individual self-concept clarity were different.For students whose social networking site usage category is interactive,their active social networking site use behavior weakens the individual’s self-concept clarity;while for students whose social networking site usage category is silent,their active social networking site usage increases The individual’s self-concept clarity. |
