| Under the background of the policy that vocational education should be equal to general education,expectations and career selection problems of Chinese secondary vocational students have attracted wide attention from the society.Secondary vocational students are in adolescence,their physical and mental development is not mature,career expectations are not stable,easy to suffer from the influence of various external factors,the need to support and guidance from all aspects.In the era of media",various network platforms such as Tik Tok and Kuaishou have a direct impact on the vocational expectations and vocational choices of secondary vocational students.In recent years,various research literature on the social support for secondary vocational students has gradually increased,but the relevant research on the social support and influence of secondary vocational students is very weak.Starting from the theory of social support,this paper studies Chinese secondary vocational students,trying to investigate the relationship between social support and secondary vocational students’ professional expectations,and the influence of social support on their vocational expectations.This is important for the development of secondary vocational students’ vocational guidance.And it can help secondary vocational students to design their career reasonably.The contents and conclusions:firstly,using the "career expectation scale","social support scale" compiled questionnaire,in Chengdu,Leshan,Meishan,Sichuan province,three secondary vocational colleges of 530 secondary vocational students for the survey,and part of the secondary vocational students,parents and teachers conducted the in-depth interview.Secondly,the reliability validity analysis of the valid questionnaire data was performed using SPSS22.0.Based on the above information,the overall level of social support and vocational expectations,the impact of social demographic variables on social support and vocational expectations,as well as social support and vocational expectations of secondary vocational students were analyzed.The conclusions: first,the social support and vocational expectations of secondary vocational students are above medium.Second,different socio-demographic variables have some influence on social support and vocational expectations.Third,there is a significant positive relationship between social support and career expectations;fourth,the level of social support can significantly and positively predict the career expectations of secondary vocational students.And social support’s different dimensions influence career expectations’ different dimensions differently.Thirdly,based on the relevant information and information obtained from the interview,the different types of support provided at the government,family,school and social levels and their specific impact on the career expectations of secondary vocational students were analyzed.Finally,from the government,family,school,social and individual levels,relevant suggestions to strengthening social support for secondary vocational students are put forward.First,the government should improve the relevant policy,institutional and economic support;the second,the school level should mainly provide cognitive,information and emotional support;the third is the family level should mainly provide emotional support;the fourth,the main social level should provide information,employment opportunities and evaluation support;fifth,the individual level should objectively understand self,enhance self-efficacy,reasonable planning of career,and play subjective initiative. |
