It is increasingly common for students to indulge in mobile phones with the development of the Internet age and the popularity of smartphones.At the same time,the junior high school stage is not only a critical period for the development of students’ personality,but also an important period for the formation of their psychological qualities,severe mobile phone dependence will affect their mental health development.In recent years,the problem of students’ mobile phone dependence has gradually become the focus of attention of scholars at home and abroad.Related research has found that perceived social support and loneliness has an impact on mobile phone dependence.Therefore,it is essential to further study the relationship between comprehension of social support,loneliness and mobile phone dependence,and to explore intervention methods for mobile phone dependence.This study is divided into two parts.Research one uses psychometric methods,using the “Perceived Social Support Scale”,“Loneliness Scale” and “Mobile Phone Addiction Index Scale” to measure the perceived social support,loneliness and mobile phone dependece of 685 junior high school students in a middle school in Luzhou City,Sichuan Province.It mainly examines the differences in the demographic variables of junior high school students’ perceived social support,loneliness and mobile phone dependence and the correlation among the three,it also explored the mediating role of loneliness in perceived social support and mobile phone dependence.In the second study,24 students were selected for group counseling intervention,they were divided into two groups,half of them in the experimental group and the others in the control group.A 6-week group psychological counseling was conducted for the experimental group students,aiming to intervene the students through mindfulness group counseling in order to reduce the degree of mobile phone dependence.The study drew the following conclusions:1.There are no significant differences in perceived social support among junior high school students on grade,gender,whether they were only children or different family regions;there are also no significant differences in loneliness on grade,gender,whether they were only children or different family regions;the degree of mobile phone dependence of third grade is higher than the second and first grade of junior high school;in the avoidance dimension of mobile phone dependence,only children are significantly larger than non-only children.2.There is a correlation between junior high school students’ perceptions of social support,loneliness,and mobile phones.Perceived social support,family support,friend support,and other support of junior high school students are negatively correlated with mobile phone dependence;loneliness is positively correlated with mobile phone dependence;perceived social support is negatively correlated with loneliness.3.The perceived social support of junior high school students has a significant negative predictive effect on mobile phone dependence,loneliness has a significant positive predictive effect on mobile phone dependence,and the perceived social support has a significant negative predictive effect on loneliness.4.Loneliness plays a part of the mediating role between junior high school students’ perceived social support and mobile phone dependence,and the mediating role is significant.5.Through the group counseling intervention of mindfulness cognitive therapy for junior high school students who are highly dependent on mobile phones,their mobile phone dependence can be reduced.
