With the rapid development of the global industrial robot industry,the demand of domestic enterprises for industrial robot application talents is becoming more and more urgent.However,as the main force of training basic operation and maintenance talents of industrial robots,the number and quality of talents trained in secondary vocational schools are far from meeting the practical needs of industrial development.The main reasons are as follows: first,robot specialty is an emerging specialty.Many secondary vocational schools do not set up robot specialty.Even if they set up this specialty,the specialty construction lags behind;Second,the cost of industrial robot teaching and training equipment is high and the type of structure is complex.Many secondary vocational schools have difficulties in the capital investment of training equipment.In the training teaching,the number and type of industrial robot equipment can not meet the teaching needs;Third,the professional skills and teaching ability of teachers need to be improved.Industrial robot is a comprehensive training equipment integrating mechanical,electrical,sensor,pneumatic and other technologies,which requires teachers to have all-round knowledge and skills.Based on this,this study intends to use virtual simulation teaching(hereinafter referred to as simulation teaching)to solve the difficulties faced in the industrial robot training teaching in secondary vocational schools,so as to improve the teaching quality and cultivate more applied talents with good professional quality and superb professional skills for the industrial robot industry.Based on the "Tower of experience theory","constructivism theory" and "hybrid learning theory",this study adopts the "pre-test and post test experimental design of unequal experimental group and control group" to verify the effectiveness of simulation teaching.Firstly,through literature analysis and interview survey,the implementation process of simulation teaching mode is formulated,and the simulation teaching design scheme of typical robot tasks such as handling,palletizing and spraying is formulated,and then the teaching control experiment is carried out.The subjects were 93 students in class 1 and class 2 of grade 2019 majoring in industrial robot application and maintenance in a secondary vocational school in Chongqing.The pre-test of the two classes shows that there is no significant difference between the two classes in learning interest and theoretical achievement.Then,the two classes carry out a two-month teaching experiment.Class 2 as the experimental class adopts the simulation teaching mode,and class 1 as the control class adopts the traditional training mode.After the teaching experiment,carry out the post experiment test on the two classes,measure the learning interest of the two classes through the questionnaire survey,measure the mastery of theoretical knowledge of the two classes through the theoretical test,and measure the hands-on practice ability of the two classes through the practical test.The purpose is to solve the following problems: for the industrial robot operation and programming course,whether the simulation teaching mode can improve students’ learning interest,improve students’ theoretical learning level and improve students’ practical operation ability.This study mainly collects experimental data by means of questionnaire,theoretical examination and practical test,makes statistical analysis by using Excel and SPSS software,and comes to the conclusion whether simulation teaching is effective or not.The study found that:after two months of teaching experiment,the experimental class using the simulation teaching mode has significantly improved in the three dimensions of learning interest,theoretical achievement and practical achievement compared with the control class using the traditional training teaching mode,and there are significant differences.Among them,the improvement effect of theoretical performance is the most ideal,and the overall teaching effect of simulation teaching mode is good.At the same time,through the comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-test results of the experimental class,it is found that the scores of learning interest and theoretical scores are improved in varying degrees after the experiment,which verifies the effectiveness of simulation teaching again.This teaching experiment enriches the teaching mode of practical training courses in secondary vocational schools.It provides new ideas and methods for the teaching of training courses in secondary vocational schools.The simulation teaching mode solves the practical difficulties such as the lack of training equipment and training venues and the prominent safety problems of training teaching in secondary vocational schools,and has achieved certain teaching results.It is expected to provide some meaningful reference for the simulation teaching of other similar training courses.Due to the limited theoretical knowledge level of the author of this study and the short experimental cycle,there are still many deficiencies in the design and implementation of teaching experiments,which need to be gradually improved and improved in the future teaching practice.
