The seating arrangement of seedling-style classrooms(hereinafter referred to as seedling-style classrooms)is a classroom form commonly adopted by universities in China.This spatial form satisfies the problem of the lack of existing educational resources after the expansion of colleges and universities.However,with the progress of the times,the society has become more innovative The gap in the demand for talents is increasing,and the seedling-style classroom is increasingly unable to meet the needs of the times for new-type talents.The reform of classroom space in colleges and universities has become the direction of the future development of my country’s college education.Exploring the shape and teaching methods of college classroom space in line with the development of the new era will help promote the development of higher education in my country and promote the production of innovative,high-quality and high-level talents.At the same time,it is conducive to promoting a harmonious teacher-student relationship,building an active classroom atmosphere,and increasing students’ sense of participation and gain in the classroom.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the current problems in college classrooms,explore the current status and existing problems of college education,analyze the causes of the problems,and put forward corresponding solutions accordingly.This study introduces the theory of spatial sociology as a research perspective,and takes the study rooms of 5 teaching buildings in the new campus of H University A2-A6 as samples to investigate how the current seedling-style classroom space affects the seat selection of college students.The introduction part of the first chapter introduces the research background and significance of this study in detail,analyzes and draws on relevant domestic and foreign research as the foundation of this article,carries out the definition of the concept and the introduction of the theoretical basis;the second chapter describes the current college classroom space form In the current situation,the seedling-style classroom space form makes the seat distribution of college students in the classroom appear "front row centered" and "pressure radiation zone" phenomena.In such a classroom space,there is a differentiated distribution of student performance,and the personal development of students is hindered.The dissimilation of educational value orientation and other negative influences;Chapter 3explores the influencing factors of student seat selection behavior in the seedling-style classroom space,mainly from three aspects: spatial power,interactive relationship and emotional experience.Space power mainly includes power’s influence on classroom physical space.The arrangement and the leading role of teachers’ power.The interactive relationship includes teacher-student interaction and the interactive relationship between students and knowledge.Emotional experience includes partnership and the individual’s differentiated feelings of classroom space.Chapter 4 is the countermeasures proposed for the reform of classroom space in colleges and universities.And suggestions,including the reconstruction of the classroom physical space,balancing the distribution of teaching resources in the classroom space,building a harmonious teacher-student relationship and classroom environment,and creating a classroom spiritual space.In order to promote the reform of the form of classroom space in colleges and universities,stimulate students’ enthusiasm for participating in classroom teaching,improve students’ creativity and innovation consciousness,and jointly build a fair and efficient classroom environment.The fifth chapter is the concluding part of this research,combing and summarizing the whole research,and looking forward to the improvement and development of this research.
