With the enrollment expansion of higher education, the number of college students in China is rising rapidly. The problem of the shortage of hardware facilities resources in colleges and universities is becoming more and more serious. Many colleges and universities have introduced seat management system(also called seat selection system)one after another in order to solve those conflicts causing by limited seat resources of university library reading rooms. But it hasn't been popularized yet. Therefore,it is of great significance to do a deeper research on the student satisfaction of seat selection system in college libraries and provide suggestions for improving the level of satisfaction and for the sake of more powerful and conductive functions. We aim to investigate the user satisfaction of seat selection system by conducting interviews and questionnaires from the perspective of university students. The target of questionnaire are students of the “Seven Schools in Wuhan”.We have built up the user satisfaction measurement model and corresponding index system of the seat selection system based on the existing customer satisfaction model and the characteristics of seat selection system.Using collected effective sample data,we try to test whether students' personal information affect the satisfaction of using seat selection system by the variance analysis. We also try to calculate the overall satisfaction score of students of the “Seven Schools in Wuhan” for seat selection system and estimate the influence degree on student satisfaction of each index by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on hierarchical principal component analysis and the structural equation model. The results of the study show that: Among the basic information of the university students, namely, the gender, school, education, major and utilization rate, only school has significantly effect on overall satisfaction.Through fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the total score of students' satisfaction of using seat selection system is 75.900,indicating that overall service of seat selection system is in medium level and needs to be improved.Among them,Wuhan University has the highest satisfaction, and Wuhan University of Technology has the lowest level, which is related to the maturity and popularity of each school's selection system. The perception of value and service quality have a significantly positive effect on overall satisfaction.Information quality and ease of use affect overall satisfaction through perceived value.Among the four factors, the perceived value and service quality has the strongest influence on satisfaction while the influence of information quality and ease of use decreases in order. As for the ultimate goal of system improvement——enhancing the willingness to use,the improvement of perceived value and satisfaction can affect it directly and positively, while perceived value has a relatively higher effect on them.According to the above conclusions and the statistical results of Chinese word segmentation of students' suggestions, after considering the difference in satisfaction scores between seven schools,we put forward the following advices for seat selection system of university libraries: First, the seat selection system needs to enrich the information and improve its accuracy.Second, the system should add some reasonable and humanized functions, beautify the interface to improve its service quality.Third, improve scientificalness and upgrade the system intelligently.Forth, establish more binding and effective punishment mechanism and implement it strictly.Last but not least, arrange full-time personnel to strengthen library reading rooms' management and supervision.
