Family education is the starting point and foundation of life education and has always been valued by people.With the continuous development of society,parents are playing an increasingly important role in family education.The elementary school stage is the basic stage of children’s development.Homework is an indispensable part of students’ learning and a way for students to consolidate the knowledge they have learned outside the classroom.In reality,parents are often forced to ask their children’s homework to help them play an inappropriate role in their children’s homework.Some parents play the role of "teachers" in the completion of their children’s homework;some parents pay too much attention to the grades and are overly involved in the completion of their children’s homework;some parents play the role of bystanders in the completion of their children’s homework and are indifferent to their children ask.These phenomena often cause conflicts and conflicts,which affect both parent-child relationships and home-school cooperation.In the context of the current "burden reduction",it is urgent to conduct an in-depth discussion on the role of parents in the completion of primary school students’ homework.This paper uses literature method,questionnaire survey method and case analysis to study the correct positioning and realization of the role of parents in the completion of homework of primary school students.In the completion of homework of primary school students,parents should be the providers of structures,active guides and independent supporters.The survey found that there are many problems with the role of parents in the completion of homework of primary school students,which are mainly manifested in the confusion of parent role,deviation of role positioning,imbalance of parent role,and the level of parent role behavior lags behind the level of role awareness.The main reasons are: some parents have low literacy levels and biased educational concepts,parents have low ability to practice their roles,and parents face multiple role conflicts.In order to better play the role of parents in the completion of homework of primary school students,parents should actively take responsibility,strengthen role learning,actively adjust role conflicts,and improve role abilities;at the same time,through reform and innovation of homework,the traditional parent role evaluation should be changed,Building parent schools,training family education instructors and other measures to optimize the external environment of the role of parents.
