| The continuous development of the economy promotes the continuous upgrading of the tourism industry.Vocational and technical education is also reforming in line with the development of the times.In order to improve the quality of the people,secondary vocational education advocates a teaching model that combines learning and thinking,heuristics,and mutual discussion among students,so as to fully attract students’ attention in the classroom.Cultivate students’ unity and satisfy their interests and hobbies.The BOPPPS teaching model meets this requirement.The BOPPPS teaching model focuses on participatory teaching and emphasizes student-centeredness.It includes six links: introduction,learning objectives,pre-test,participatory teaching,post-test and summary.Under the teaching mode,the classroom is returned to students in order to fully mobilize students’ learning enthusiasm,improve students’ learning efficiency,achieve better teaching results,and cultivate better talents for my country’s secondary vocational tourism majors.This article first understands the concept of BOPPPS teaching mode by reading relevant domestic and foreign literature,and then uses questionnaire surveys,interviews,in-depth classroom listening and other methods to understand the current teaching status and existing teaching problems of secondary vocational tourism majors.Then,according to BOPPPS The six modules of the teaching mode are designed for teaching,and the BOPPPS teaching mode is applied to the classroom of "Tour Guide Practice" in secondary vocational schools.Through the establishment of a control group and an experimental group,the satisfaction of students is investigated,and at the same time,the effectiveness of the teaching mode is proved by comparing the results of the control group and the experimental group.The research shows that it is feasible to apply BOPPPS teaching mode to the professional courses of tourism in secondary vocational schools.During the implementation of the BOPPPS teaching model,attention should be paid to:(1)Flexible use of the BOPPPS teaching model;(2)Respect for the dominant status of students(3)Strengthen the scientific interaction between teachers and students;(4)Pre-test and post-test of the BOPPPS teaching model The testing methods can be diversified;(5)Innovative teaching methods;(6)Combining in-class and extra-curricular.The BOPPPS teaching mode can make up for the shortcomings of the traditional teaching mode.It attracts students’ attention during the teaching process and emphasizes the prominence of students’ main body status,which has a positive effect on improving the teaching effect.At present,there are relatively few researches on the application of BOPPPS in professional courses of secondary vocational education,and there are not many studies on its application in the field of tourism.As the society has higher and higher requirements for tourism education,it is necessary to discuss the BOPPPS teaching model in secondary vocational tourism.The application in the field of education is of great significance. |
