Driven by the national innovation driven development strategy,China’s economy has entered a period of rapid development,putting forward higher requirements for technology in various industries.Facing the new social environment,higher vocational colleges should not only improve the teaching quality and realize the connotation development of colleges and universities,but also enable students to learn and improve their personal ability.On the basis of theoretical knowledge,vocational education should not only pay attention to practical operation ability,but also pay more attention to the cultivation of comprehensive quality.Integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education into professional education can cultivate students’ innovative practical ability and strengthen the cooperation and exchange between Higher Vocational Colleges and enterprises.This study selects teachers and students of Higher Vocational Colleges in Gansu Province as the research object,and uses the methods of questionnaire and interview to understand the implementation status of the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education.The survey results show that:Vocational College Students’ cognition of innovation and entrepreneurship is insufficient;Poor integration of curriculum construction;The structure of teaching staff is unbalanced;The implementation effect of the practice platform is poor.Based on the "three helix" system constructed by Stanford University for the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education,this study analyzes the causes of the problems from four aspects: the three subjects of government,enterprises and higher vocational colleges and the subjective wishes of students.On the basis of qualitative and quantitative research,combined with the national and provincial vocational education development plans,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: first,strengthen the top-level design;Second,promote the integration of curriculum construction;Third,expand the ranks of teachers;Fourth,create a practical platform for schools and enterprises;Fifth,cultivate students’ innovative consciousness and guide innovative practice.It is expected to provide new thinking for the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education in higher vocational colleges.
