| With the continuous popularization and development of tennis in China, tennis elective courses in universities have become popular among many sports elective courses. However, for a long time, due to the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods, such as boring form, single means, rigid mode, etc.,the teaching process of tennis elective courses is boring, the teaching method is single, and the students’ practice mode is too mechanized and patterned, which greatly inhibits students’ enthusiasm for tennis and seriously affects the teaching quality of tennis elective courses. In recent years, with the continuous progress and development of information technology,multimedia-assisted teaching method has been widely used in college physical education in China, and has achieved good results in improving teaching quality. In view of this, the author implanted multimedia-assisted teaching method into the teaching process of tennis elective courses in physical education institutes.By using the methods of literature review, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis of teaching experiments, questionnaire survey,etc.,25 students from Class 1 and Class 2 of tennis elective courses in Wuhan Institute of Physical Education were taken as the experimental objects, and the two classes respectively adopted traditional teaching method and multimedia teaching method to conduct an 18-week teaching experiment.By comparing the learning interest, learning motivation and skill level of the two classes of students through the experimental results, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)After the experiment, there is a significant difference in tennis interest between the experimental class and the control class. The average interest level of the experimental class(3.15)will be significantly higher than that of the control class(2.42).It is proved that the application of multimedia-assisted teaching method can stimulate students’ interest in tennis, strengthen communication, enhance each other’s feelings, and develop the spirit of mutual help, which is recognized and liked by students.(2)After the experiment, the students in the experimental class and the control class showed significant differences in learning motivation. After the experiment, the number of students with active learning motivation in the experimental class increased significantly, and the proportion was significantly higher than that in the control class. It is proved that multimedia-assisted teaching method can change students’ learning motivation, improve their self-efficacy and make students’ learning motivation develop in a positive direction.(3)After the experiment, the physical fitness test indexes of the experimental class and the control class have been significantly improved, but there is no difference, which proves that the teaching effect of multimedia-assisted teaching method in physical fitness is the same as that of traditional teaching method, and both teaching methods can improve students’ physical fitness.(4)After the experiment, there is a significant difference between the two classes in the technical evaluation scores of tennis skills. The average scores of the technical evaluation scores of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class, and the difference in technical evaluation scores is more obvious. It is proved that the application of multimedia-assisted teaching method can help students better understand and master complex tennis technical movements, make students’ movements standard, and then improve their technical evaluation results, thus achieving the purpose of enhancing teaching effect. |
