Regional activity is an important place for children to carry out autonomous learning,reading area as a branch of regional activities,also more and more attention by kindergartens and teachers.Reading materials play an important role in the reading area,it is the medium for children to learn directly.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the selection and use of the reading materials in the reading area.Based on the author 's understanding of the activities of the reading area and the observation of the reading area,the author uses the observation method,interview method and questionnaires to study the choice and use of children' s reading materials in 3-6 year-old children in the reading area.First of all,in this study,we investigated the choice of children's reading materials in 3-6 year-old children in the reading area by observational method,and systematically analyzed the age differences and gender characteristics of 3-6-year-old children's reading content types and performance choices.Secondly,through interviews and questionnaires on the reading Area of 3-6 years old children reading the use of materials to study.Finally,based on the children to the reading material selection and use of research,found the problems that exist in the selection and use.The conclusion is:first,he type of reading materials in 3-6 year old children in the reading area was unbalanced and the reading material was mainly in pictorial form;The age difference of reading materials in 3-6 year-old children was significant and the gender difference was not significant;The results showed that the type of reading materials in 3-6 year old children in the reading area was unbalanced and the reading material was mainly in pictorial form.The age difference of reading materials in 3-6 year-old children was significant and the gender difference was not significant.Second,on the use of reading materials in reading activities.The following conclusions are drawn from the following six aspects:1.children participate in the reading area environment create positive performance.2.children's attitude towards reading materials should be improved;3.there is an age difference in children's continue reading time.4.children have a special preference for a certain type of reading material;5.lack of good use of reading materials in reading area.6.teachers guide children use of the reading material is not enough in reading activities.Three,Problems in the selection and use of reading materials for children aged 3-6 years old in reading area:1.The content of the reading material provided in the reading area is not reasonable enough;2.Reading area use frequency and time is not flexible;3.The function of the reading area is not fully utilized;4.Reading area utilization is low,the use of reading material enthusiasm is not high;5.Lack of good use of reading materials in the reading area;6.In the reading area,teachers' guidance on the use of reading materials by young children is inadequate.In view of the problems existing in the selection and use of children's reading materials in 3-6 year-old children in the reading area,including the following:putting the appropriate reading materials;combined with the actual situation,the flexibility to increase the use of reading area frequency and time;fully expand the reading function,such as reading drifting activities and reading activities;change the reading area of reading materials,put the concept of reading area to improve the utilization rate;providing a supportive reading environment for children;kindergarten teachers provide the choice of selecting reading materials independently and educational opportunities.
