The lack of sense of life meaning leads to the frequent occurrence of teenagers’ disregard for life,which greatly threatens their physical and mental health development.Maintain model theory according to the sense of meaning,a sense of life meaning seek is not only the inherent sense of meaning,more important is to understand the relationship with the outside world,the development of self-identity is important way to experience the meaning of life,self-esteem can be used as a measurement of the ego to establish contact with the outside world to maintain life feeling,Resilience is an important factor in rebuilding the meaning of life when its framework is broken.Therefore,in order to explore the influence of self-identity on the sense of life meaning of high school students,this study introduces two factors,self-esteem and mental toughness,and analyzes the influencing factors of the sense of life meaning,so as to provide effective suggestions for the healthy development of the sense of life meaning.Based on the theoretical model established by questionnaire method and four standardized scales,this study explored the influence of self-identity on the sense of meaning in life of high school students,and the mediating role of self-esteem and resilience between them.In this study,the cluster sampling method was adopted to select 4 high schools in H,L and F and distribute1300 questionnaires.1185 questionnaires were collected and 1076 valid questionnaires were collected.SPSS 22.0 and Process were used to collate and analyze the data.The results show that :(1)The results show that the status quo of self-identity among senior high school students is as follows: diffusion of identity--the number of students who actively delay the middle status is the largest,followed by identity formation--the number of students in the middle status of authority acceptance,the number of students in the middle status of authority acceptance is the least;(2)There is a significant correlation between self-identity,selfesteem,resilience and sense of meaning of life in high school students,indicating that selfidentity,self-esteem and resilience can all be important factors to predict sense of meaning of life;(3)Self-identity and its three dimensions positively predicted the sense of meaning of life,that is,the development of self-identity positively predicted the sense of meaning of life;(4)Self-identity indirectly predicts the sense of life meaning through the mediating effect of selfesteem and resilience,that is,the better the level of self-identity development,the higher the level of self-esteem,the higher the level of resilience,thus enhancing the experience of sense of life meaning.Therefore,this study suggests: family,school and society should cooperate with each other,to give high school students plenty of time,space and a good external environment,making the formation and development of high school students self-identity to good,give positive support when its difficulties,and enhance their self-esteem and mental toughness,so as to improve the experience of the sense of life,physical and mental health development.
