| With the booming development of the Internet and information age,online learning is becoming more and more common.Critical thinking,as a kind of high-order thinking,critical thinking plays an important role in the cultivation of national innovative talents,the development of students,the improvement of learning effect and the change of thinking mode.Network learning can create opportunities for students to play their critical thinking.It is very necessary to promote students ’critical thinking by designing appropriate network peer evaluation activities,which has certain theoretical value and also provides guidance for teachers’ teaching.This study first collected,collated,and analyzed the literature to understand the current research status of peer evaluation and critical thinking,and determined the research framework and theoretical basis of this study.On the basis of the existing practical research,the framework of peer evaluation activities is designed around the five basic elements of peer mutual evaluation activities,namely,evaluation objectives,methods,main tasks,evaluation resources and tools,and evaluation rules,combined with the development process of critical thinking.The study takes "Learning Pass" as the online learning platform,takes "Modern Educational Technology" course as a practice case,conducts case trial,guides learners to actively participate in the online peer mutual evaluation activities in practice,and constantly improves and corrects students after each round of case trial.After the completion of the practice activities,the activity data were collected,and the obtained data were analyzed to paired sample t-test,correlation analysis and regression data analysis to test whether the study-designed peer mutual evaluation activity is effective in improving learners’ critical thinking.The research results show that the overall level of critical thinking is improved,and students change from negative critical thinking level before mutual evaluation to basic critical thinking ability after mutual evaluation,and gradually develop to strong critical thinking level.Research-designed online peer mutual evaluation activities help enhance students’ critical thinking tendencies,attitude feeling and evaluation ability and peer mutual evaluation criteria can significantly influence the development of critical thinking;reasonable organization can provide important support for learners to develop critical thinking. |
