| Objective: literature research at home and abroad and the practice of bridge competition have proved that psychological factors have a greater and greater impact on the selection,training and daily training of athletes.The stable exertion of athletes’ technical and tactical level in important competitions requires the coordination and cooperation of psychological skills.Some studies believe that cognitive style and sports psychological skills have important reference significance for the selection of athletes.This paper aims to study the cognitive style and sports psychological skill characteristics of Chinese college bridge athletes(hereinafter referred to as athletes),and explore the relationship between them,so as to provide reference for psychological selection and psychological training of College bridge athletes.Methods: using the methods of literature,psychological measurement and mathematical statistics,this study studied the cognitive style,psychological skill characteristics and the correlation between cognitive style and psychological skill of athletes of different gender,age group,sports years and sports level.Results:(1)the p value of cognitive style and exercise years was 0.003.Two models were obtained by logistic regression analysis.With field dependent athletes as independent variables and field intermediate and field independent athletes as dependent variables,the regression coefficient values of exercise years were 0.712 and 0.698,and the correlation coefficient values were 0.003 and 0.006,It shows that the number of years of exercise has a significant positive impact on cognitive style;The p value of cognitive style and exercise level was 0.012,which was positively correlated.(2)The p value of self-confidence dimension in gender and sports psychological skills was 0.001,which was positively correlated;There was a significant positive correlation between the dimension of exercise and self-confidence,P 0.002;The P values of exercise level and anxiety control,concentration and psychological preparation were 0.038,0.008 and 0.004 respectively,showing a positive correlation.(3)The P values of cognitive style and anxiety control,concentration,self-confidence,motivation and collective consciousness of all athletes were 0.005,0.007,0.048,0.018 and 0.015,respectively;The P values of cognitive style,anxiety control,concentration and self-confidence of elite athletes are 0.014,0.013 and0.012,respectively.Conclusion:(1)the gender and age of College bridge players are not related to cognitive style;The number of years of exercise is related to cognitive style: athletes who have participated in bridge for less than 2 years(excluding 2 years)choose the field dependent type with the highest proportion.The proportion of intermediate type with more than 5 years is the highest,and the proportion of independent type with 2-4 years is the highest.With the increase of sports years,the field nature changes from dependence to independence;Sports level is related to cognitive style: compared with ordinary athletes,excellent athletes prefer field independence.(2)The gender of College bridge athletes is related to sports psychological skills: male athletes have a higher level of self-confidence than female athletes;Age does not affect the characteristics of psychological skills;The number of years of exercise is related to psychological skills: the higher the number of years of exercise,the higher the degree of self-confidence of athletes;Sports level is related to psychological skills: excellent athletes have higher anxiety control and concentration ability than ordinary athletes,and ordinary athletes have higher psychological preparation ability.(3)As for college bridge players as a whole,field independent athletes have stronger ability to control anxiety,better ability to concentrate,more self-confidence and more collective consciousness.The motivation of intermediate athletes is stronger;As for excellent bridge players,field independent athletes have better self-confidence,concentration and anxiety control ability. |
