Research purposes: This article takes Pakistani female athletes as the research object, and aims to analyze the correlation between daily physical activity and mental health of female athletes,as well as the potential factors affecting the above two indicators.Research methods: The International Physical Activity Scale(Short)was used as an evaluation tool to count the daily physical activity of Pakistani female athletes. The Warwick-Edinburgh Positive Mental Health Scale was used to measure the mental health of the subjects.A total of 221 questionnaires were distributed in this study,210 were returned,27 outliers were excluded, and 183 were invalid questionnaires.One-way ANOVA was used to investigate the effects of different age, sports, sports years, sports grade, education level, economic status and other factors on the daily physical activity and mental health of female athletes.Pearson’s correlation method was used to analyze the correlation between daily physical activity and mental health. Results: Exercise program(P=0.029),exercise level(0.004),and social status(0.034)were three independent variables that significantly affected women’s daily physical activity.Among them, the daily physical activity score(IPAQ=6667.5)of female athletes in hockey is significantly higher than that of athletes in other sports. The daily physical activity score of district-level athletes(IPAQ=6964.1)was significantly higher than that of other sports. The daily physical activity score(IPAQ=5900.6)of female athletes with relatively wealthy financial conditions was significantly higher than that of female athletes from ordinary and poor families.Age and economic status are the main factors affecting the mental health of Pakistani female athletes.Among them, the mental health scores of female athletes aged30-33 were significantly higher than those of other age groups(P=0.005).Financially affluent female athletes also had significantly higher mental health scores than other women(P=0.004).There was a significant positive linear correlation between IPAQ scores and mental health scores(P=0.000).Conclusions: Pakistani female athletes are characterized by a younger age structure and higher educational attainment. The sporting event, level of competition and economic conditions are the main factors that dominate the daily physical activity of Pakistani female athletes.Age and age are the main factors dominating the mental health scores of Pakistani female athletes. For Pakistani female athletes, there is a positive relationship between daily physical activity and mental health. An appropriate increase in daily physical activity will promote the healthy development of their mental health.
