Since the reform and opening up,social changes have taken place in China and the level of economic development has been increasing. The rapid development of urbanization has accelerated the pace of the transfer of large numbers of rural laborers to cities. In the context of this era,in order to adapt to the rapid development of the economy and society, the floating population is increasing, including a large number of school-age children who receive compulsory education. The rural population flows to big cities.Their children stay in rural areas and become left-behind children;or they travel with their parents to a big city and become migrant children in cities. As a newly born group in the process of urbanization development, migrant children aspire to life in big cities. However, due to their poor social adaptability, they are unable to quickly adapt to the new environment and produce a lack of self-confidence,loneliness and sensitive negative psychology.status.Moreover,urban migrant children are often excluded from the system and cannot enjoy the same schooling conditions as local permanent children. This also leads to their physical and mental health at a relatively low level.Although the society is continuously raising the awareness of migrant children and the right to education has become increasingly fair,it does not fundamentally solve the problem of the low level of physical and mental development of migrant children.P.E.is an important means to promote the socialization of people and improve their physical quality. This study is devoted to exerting the maximum efficiency of sports in promoting the physical and mental health of floating children. Therefore, four public schools with more floating children in Jinan City were selected as the study objects. Each school randomly selected five classes as the experimental group and the control group.Through the literature and data methods, questionnaires, interviews, and data analysis methods to study the current status of physical and mental development of floating children,to formulate sports prescriptions and extracurricular sports activities suitable for floating children, exert influence on the experimentalgroup, the experimental time is 4 months.Using the “National Student Physical Fitness Health Standard(2014 Revision)”and the“Mental Health Diagnosis Questionnaire(MHT)”to detect differences in the level of physical and mental health between the experimental and control groups,we found: 1.Interventions in relatively short-term physical activity.Under the migrant children's physical form can also be greatly improved, prompting their healthy development of body shape, also shows that the physical shape of floating children has a good plasticity,is a critical period of the body shape development, good physical activity intervention for their lifetime The body form laid a good foundation.2.Pre-test and post-test data analysis showed that the experimental group had exercise prescriptions and sports activity interventions after implementation. The speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, and coordination physical quality of the experimental group were significantly improved.Significant difference. Moreover, after the experimental intervention, the mental health of the floating children in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, reflecting that the physical activity can have a positive impact on the mental health of the floating children. Therefore,we recommend: First, make full use of resources both inside and outside the school to ensure the development of school sports. To improve the teaching quality of physical education teachers in physical education classes and the ability to organize and carry out after-school activities, students in sports academies should be encouraged to practice in schools where there are more mobile children, and to establish cooperative relations in practice.Second,we should formulate exercise prescriptions according to the physical development of floating children. They made suggestions and requirements on the time they took part in various types of sports activities, the specific activities, and other aspects,so that extracurricular sports activities became a compulsory extracurricular sports activity for school children.Thirdly,we design sports games and fun games based on the physical and mental development characteristics of floating children, and create extracurricular sports activities to form a school-based curriculum.Fourth, the development of sports activities will be promoted outside the school by the school togive migrant children a better sports environment.
