Students’ academic quality is an important part of educational quality.The suburban area is located in the border zone between the city and the countryside,and the suburban area belongs to the urban jurisdiction,but because it is closer to the rural area,the gap between the development and the city is gradually increasing.The rapid development of urban economic level has led to the development of urban primary schools.With the attention of the state and all walks of life to rural education,rural education has gradually become the focus,and the status of suburban primary schools is becoming more and more difficult.As a marginal area of the city,the academic quality of primary school students in the suburbs has a certain impact on the overall educational quality of the city.Improving the academic quality of primary school students in the suburbs can narrow the gap between urban and suburban primary schools.Due to the geographical division,the students of suburban primary schools need to go to urban secondary schools after graduation,and the academic pressure of middle and senior students facing higher education is gradually increasing.Therefore,this paper studies the current situation of academic quality of senior students in suburban primary schools in L.This paper defines the concept of academic quality by consulting the relevant literature,compiles the relevant questionnaire,then distributes the questionnaire to the middle and senior students in L suburb primary school,collects the questionnaire,interviews some teachers in the middle and senior grade of the suburban primary school,and the author observes the academic quality of the middle and senior students in the suburban primary school.It is found that there are six problems in the academic quality of middle and senior students in suburban primary schools,such as the polarization of students’ academic level,the lack of endogenous learning motivation,the lack of academic burden,the poor teaching effect of teachers,the poor physical and mental health of students,and the volatility of students’ moral behavior.In view of these six main problems,this paper deeply analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures: cultivating local teachers and reducing the flow of teachers;excavating students’ interest and stimulating endogenous learning motivation;changing traditional concepts and advocating students’ multi-faceted development;carrying out teaching and research activities to improve teachers’ teaching level;paying attention to the role of physical and mental health;cooperating closely with home and school to guide students’ self-education.Through this study,it is found that there are many factors affecting the academic quality of the middle and senior students in suburban primary schools,among which the concept of family education will also affect the academic quality of the students,so we should look at the academic quality of the middle and senior students in suburban primary schools fairly and objectively.
