In order to comply with the development of society and the requirements of the times,it is necessary to master and apply mathematics.The most direct way to judge the learning effect of a student's mathematics is to observe his mathematics academic achievements.The author wants to find some strategies to help the students who have difficulties in learning mathematics through investigations during the internship in the suburban junior middle school.Scholars both home and abroad also have research on the influencing factors of academic.However,there is a little attention to this special group of junior high school students in the suburbs,and there is almost no research on the correlation between mathematics learning quality and academic achievement.This research finally determined the way to better understand the learning quality of junior middle school students in the suburbs through questionnaires after consulting many literature,survey methods and scholars.The author used the self-edited“Junior Middle School Students'mathematical Learning Quality Questionnaire”to conduct a survey of 140 students through stratified sampling.After the data of the questionnaire was collated and collected,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested using SPSS 17.0 software.Then,the students'learning quality and the correlation between each factor and academic achievement are analyzed.After that,the characteristics of the suburbs were discussed,and the reasons were analyzed.Finally,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The academic performance and learning quality of junior middle school students in the suburbs are at a low level;(2)The learning quality of junior middle school students in the suburbs and their various factors are related to each other;(3)There is no significant difference in the quality of learning between junior middle school students in the suburbs;(4)There is a significant positive correlation between the learning quality and academic achievement of junior middle school students in the suburbs.Among them,mathematics learning ability has the highest interpretation rate of academic achievement;(5)Constructed a optimal multiple linear regression model for academic achievement:y=.2138x1+1.464x2+.1030x3-0.974x4+.0703x5-0.865x6+11.95.After testing,this equation can predict students'mathematics scores very well.Based on the above conclusions,this study gives some teaching suggestions at the end of the paper.I hope that more scholars and teachers can pay attention to the special group of junior middle school students in the suburbs through this research.At the same time,I hope to help junior middle school students in the suburbs improve their mathematics learning quality and mathematics academic achievements.
