Research On National Identity Education Of College Students In The New Era

Since the 18 th Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed that the masses of all ethnic groups should constantly enhance their recognition of the great motherland,the Chinese nation,the Chinese culture,the Communist Party of China and socialism with Chinese characteristics.This is the basic requirement of national identity in the new era.Today’s world is undergoing great changes that have not been seen in a century.We are facing the complex international situation and the impact of multiculturalism.A high degree of national identity can condense the sense of community of the Chinese nation and lay a solid foundation for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.College students are the main force of the future development of the country and the nation.How to further strengthen the national identity education of college students and enhance their national identity emotion has become an important research topic of Ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Based on the existing research results,starting with the relevant theories of College Students’ national identity education,this paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of College Students’ national identity education,and puts forward effective countermeasures to strengthen college students’ national identity education.This paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction.Including the background and significance of the topic,the research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,and the innovation of the research.The second chapter explains the related concepts and connotation of national identity and national identity education.This paper combs the concepts and related connotations of "identity","national identity" and national identity education for college students in the new era,summarizes the contents and main characteristics of national identity education for college students in the new era,and puts forward the significance of national identity education for college students in the new era.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of College Students’ National Identity Education in the new era.It includes the analysis of the practical effect of College Students’ National Identity Education in the new era and the analysis of the problems existing in college students’ National Identity Education in the new era.The fourth chapter puts forward the strategies of College Students’ National Identity Education in the new era.This paper gives solutions from four aspects: establishing the basic principles of national identity education,perfecting the development process of national identity education,cultivating college students’ national identity and college students’ self-education and self-guidance.
