With the high-quality development and diversified development of tourism,the professional capacity of tour guides can no longer meet the objective needs of the current tourism market development.For this reason,China relies on the Internet to promote the development and change of tourism,and began the attempt of tour guide practice reform,two-way choice,independent career choice,multiple channels are the main points of this change.In this process,the market demand for the professional ability of tour guides has changed,gradually returning to the essence of tour guide services,personalized high-quality travel experience is the pursuit of travelers.But at the same time,the current training of tourism students in tourism colleges and universities is disconnected from the tourism market and cannot integrate the professional competency of tour guides in the new era into their teaching.In order to improve the talent cultivation quality of tourism majors in secondary vocational tourism colleges,this study is devoted to constructing a hybrid teaching mode based on the cultivation of tour guide’s vocational ability and promoting the curriculum teaching reform.With the development of information-based teaching,information technology plays an important role as a key force to promote teaching reform.The large-scale online teaching carried out in China during the epidemic prevention and control period has made people realize the unique advantages of information-based teaching,and blended teaching will become the main form of teaching activities in the future.This study compares the current status of domestic and international research on blended teaching model and tour guide professional competence cultivation through literature research method,and finds that there are research gaps in the use of blended teaching model to cultivate tour guide professional competence in the field of secondary vocational education.Theoretically,this study integrates competency-based vocational education theories based on humanistic and constructivist learning theories to construct a blended teaching model based on the cultivation of tour guide professional competence.Through the survey and research method,we understand the current situation of applying the blended teaching mode in the teaching of the course "Comprehensive Practical Training for Tour Guides" in secondary vocational schools and clarify the current problems in the application of the blended teaching mode of this course,so as to clarify the needs of constructing the blended teaching mode based on the professional competence cultivation of tour guides.Based on the results of theory and investigation research,the main aspects of the hybrid teaching mode are constructed by considering the mode design requirements,design strategies and teaching methods.Through the case study method,based on the educational experiment on the teaching of the course "Comprehensive Practical Training for Tour Guides",reflections and evaluations are made based on the comparison of the professional competence assessment of tour guides in the experimental and control classes,summarized and analyzed and application suggestions are made.In order to provide reference and reference for front-line teachers to apply the blended teaching mode.
